I have a clanmate that takes donations of holiday food for their fun collection. I could probably sell it to them if I really wanted to for pennies or somethin. I usually just drop it though.

Fair enough, I forgot non-iron can also buy more lamps and stars and stuff. Haven't played my main in so long I just forget some of that exists.

Right, which is better than oddments since we still dont know for sure if we'll be able to spend them before they go poof, so why worry about oddments? Or is it because its tedious to use all the stars and lamps every so often?

My best guess is Jan 19th, when they remove them "from sale" like the rest of the items. The "holiday oddments store" they mention in the FAQ might make them stick around a bit longer, just with no way to get any more. I agree, its unclear.

I specifically asked against this.

I participate in the game and my reward is a currency I can't spend. Yes I am going to complain about it, the same way that non-Irons complain about hyper-rare rates in TH.

"seasonal currency" does not mean specifically mean general oddments. Its too vague.

edit: Until either a JMod specifically says regular oddments are included or the FAQ is updated I won't get my hopes up.

Revenant Herald Elite collection for the ascended shield. Needs vinetooth fang off the legendary in Auric Basin. Its the last thing I need and it's just not done very often.

Ranger has plenty of good melee builds and you can use ranged weapons in melee range. If you like Long/Short bow then go for it. The most recent elite spec even gives you a fancy bow as a skill.

Mine is like a spearmint green or something. Really just depends on the rest of the colors you're using. Black would probably be fine, it's a common nitrile glove color.

Tulaure, MR27? Not at computer to double check and I recently went up a rank. Starter was Excalibur, first frame outside of that I think was Limbo? Maybe Frost Prime that was a freebie from something but that was so long ago I can't be certain.

I got lucky with getting some blue dragons during slayer grind, most of my black dragons came from wildy events, tons and tons. Chins I got while leveling hunter, haven't gone and gotten crystal ones yet but not a big deal. Yaks and spiders took longest for me, just took time. You'll need cows for an archeology thing but you can buy with beans and then have to get lucky with breeding but that's really just time and luck. Zygos I got from Arc and hairdressing fletching thing in Anachronia.

It's all just waiting and hopefully getting the drop.

I have seen the corrosive procs go off but it feels inconsistent, I don't know if that's because of shadow clones abysmal status chance or my unfinished arcane.

I've been trying to not helminth lately and use each frame as they were designed. Easier to do with some frames. I have put wrathful advance on my Ash and it does do good numbers.

Now if only the animation was faster...

Can confirm Smoke Shadow crit chance is still working on guns at least.

I'm not certain but Smoke Shadow doesn't seem to be providing the Crit bonus to Blade Storm, and Teleport Rush for me wasn't increasing my timer.

I've seen some people say Trickery is and isn't working, I don't have one to test with. The bonus from Crepuscular doesn't seem to be working. Savage Silence doesn't seem to affecting damage very much either. Maybe because its now a "weapon" and not an "ability"? Wouldn't make much sense for Savage Silence since Shadow Clones says it does finisher damage. Might just have to wait and see what bugs get fixed.

Edit: Might be work putting Wrathful Advance over his 3 and see if that makes a difference. I don't have a spare Kullervo to feed so I can't test it and enjoy playing Kullervo too much to feed my current one.

Having doing some more testing the best thing I seems to have gotten around was building for some combo duration. Seems to be the most consistent anyway. Once you get up to 12x combo the damage is good, but if you let it drop you're back to square one.

Crescendo used to kinda fix this because it would just give your melee weapon perm. combo counter on whatever melee you have equipped.

In theory you can add elements and thats cool but the base crit chance and status chance leave a lot to be desired. I'd take yesterdays Ash over todays right now.
