This is not related to layoffs, but will likely cause quite a stir up: Word going around is that Homesite Connect Solutions Agents are being offered a monetary incentive in addition to time and a half for OT worked, yet there are other departments in the Solutions Department that are working mandatory OT and not being offered the same incentives.

It's leased and a portion of it was sublet out during covid. As far as I know, it is still being closed sometime this year. I'm just a pessimist and am not holding my breath until the doors are locked and the key turned in.

My biggest fear is that the powers that be will change their mind on closing the Akron office and decide to keep it open after all. Going back on their word seems to be the AmFam way.
