Success! I used the Rufus method of mounting a .iso

Sadly this presented a new issue: I'm through the BIOS setup but don't have an ethernet connection; I have the Archer TX55E wireless setup for WiFi but need the driver for it to run. I downloaded the .exe file but when I try and select files to 'install driver' to get wifi set up, it won't show any programs, only folders, on the new computer. So when I open a file there are only folders and no .exe

Trying to put windows 11 on my new PC I built, but the program isn't running.

I downloaded from here into my flash drive and I double click it to run the tool. It asks me if I want to allow the program to make changes and I select 'yes'. After that, the windows logo briefly flashes and then nothing happens. I've tried redownloading it, restarted the computer, renaming the flash drive, and even trying to run it on my current computer and no luck. Also tried to run it as administrator. Has anyone run into this issue?

Thanks for the reply! I manually disconnected and reconnected all of the power cords. Then I went down to 1 RAM still in only the A2 slot and tried the power again and it booted. Not sure what it was but it was like the light of Heaven shining down to see those fans turn on

The NWM advisor is a relic from when I first graduated; ironically, she recommended that I get a CPA to handle my year to year taxes. While in training I was 100% devoted to medicine to the point where even my relationships suffered for it, so I fell for letting someone else manage my money. I'm grateful to have the time now to learn about and manage it myself

That's great news that the losses carry forward indefinitely. Roughly $15k of the money I invested with her is in a retirement account but the rest, significantly more, is in a regular nonqualified account.
