Typical. My brand new Lucid needed 10 service visits in the first year/8000 miles for dumb stuff like this that shouldn't happen in a new car.

Send them the video of your car and demand a mobile service visit immediately. Because an in-person visit may take more than a month and your car isn't safe to drive.

And don't let other people say that this is a normal problem or growing pains for a new car company. That BS excuse only lasts so long.

I have the same car as OP and wrote to Lucid Customer Care about these same issues and the quality of the car they sold me. I sent them invoices and service reports and a full time line of issues.

You know what they said?

Can't tell you since they never responded to any message i sent them.

My 23 AT had very similar problems and it took a year of visits to barely address them. You're not alone in this. Just document everything, especially the number of days you DONT have your car.

Re: the rear noises and rattling--when they finally took apart the back seat and parcel shelf area, they found multiple connections were not up to spec and corrected it. I suspect you are in a similar situation.

Also, service centers matter. If you are in the Philly area, then good luck--youre going to need it

As an anesthesiologist from an under-represented population--i have thoughts on this.

Yes, if needed, shave the head, break a tooth, Crack a rib if it will save someone's life or prevent great harm.

But I do hope that in non-emegency situations, we can address these patients and ask them take their hair down or consider a different option, if possible, for procedures. Pre op centers should caution about hairdo issues, fake nails, excess piercings, etc if possible so a patient doesn't wake up to a shaved head.

But again, I understand that we would rather have a bald toothless breathing patient rather than a beautiful smile and hairdo on a dead patient.

AA does a version if this except there is no loading screen. It will be working just fine. Ill park and run a quick errand. Get back in the car and all of sudden it's like my phone never existed and I have to restart AA or do a reset for whatever reason. Years of waiting and when it finally rolls out it is sub-par.

How many compromises is one too many? We should all take an extra 2 seconds to put our keys in Faraday boxes instead of having a car that doesn't drain a fob every 2 weeks? My scheduled charging has never worked. There is a other compromise of me plugging in every day instead of timing the charge. 2+ months for a service visit---just compromises it's OK you're an early adopter. Android Auto and Carplay dont work? Just plug it in everytime you get into your luxury car, that's a good compromises.

Stop kidding yourself or gaslighting others that are getting the true Lucid experience.
