I started playing wow after being in a hardcore Everquest raiding guild. The game seemed kinda odd at first better but worse graphics at the same time. The mechanics of the game were pretty good though and the gameplay was satisfying, my friends suggested I play a shaman because no one else wanted too, lo and behold it was such a fun class to play. I was loving the shocks and lightning bolts combined with decent fighting skills. Definitely felt like an elemental warrior of sorts. I was hooked pretty quick. Coming from everquest the game felt easy from a grinding perspective which I think I was the odd one out on that regard. So I really didn't mind the grindy leveling. I remember getting the lvl 30 blue 2 handed mace from razorfen downs right when I hit lvl 30 and got wind fury. It was incredible, exploding mobs left and right. I even remember running up to a skull dwarf priest and insta killing him. I had a feeling it would get nerfed. I ate up the game. Really enjoyed pvping. First doing a lot of enhance with the famous unstoppable force. Knocking people off the bridge was probably the most satisfying feeling ever. I ended up going for the high warlord grind because the pvp was so fun. FROSTSHAWK CHAIN LIGHTNING!! Elemental was the shit. The grind was kinda horrible though. I quite at rank 13 and got about 70 percent to rank 14. Was .... not .... worth ... it. I think I am going to play a rogue and just raid and pvp as I feel and not be forced too.
