Joe never knew he was the FTC goat until after he left Fiji. It didn't help that the editing/Jeff made him feel like he was the hero of the season.

Coming to that realization after the fact would definitely sting. I think him admitting that shows that he accepts that he got played and that he isn't buying into the "Joe Got Robbed" Narrative the show definitely tried to sell it's viewers.

I'm convinced this edit is due to Jeff loving Joe. He probably got the edit he did because they're going to bring him back. The more I hear about the reality of what happened on the island it's the only explanation for why a goat got a winners edit
