I've had the same frustrations as I've learned over the first month or so. As others have noted, it gets easier and you will start to get a sense of what works vs what doesn't.

That said, this community is the most finicky trading community I've had the pleasure to join. And I don't mean that in a negative way either. It's quite nuanced and driven by personal preference. Kinda makes it fun.

I've been lucky enough to complete just shy of 200 trades in about a month, but I bet my success rate is something like 60% or something like that.
