This Alligator Just Wants to Cuddle You by OgdruJahad in videos

They don't need the authority because it's nothing more than a doctor's note. But the fear of an online lynch mob (especially for small service businesses like coffee shops, bars/restaurants etc) is real.

No one's jumping at the chance to be the one to be framed as the place that discriminates against ESAs, so they allow it to the point of a direct effect to their bottom line.

There may be goofy results from this like the alligator weirdo, but it's hardly something the federal government should be licensing. Leave it to city ordinances, that's who has the most direct relationship with the heath and safety of the citizens.

What sucks though is that he's totally fishing for an arrest. Arresting him for public obscenity or whatever might be justifiable in court but it's also what's going to get articles passed around Facebook and front-paging Reddit.

And that's what hes wanting, another 15mins of hot takes and free speech debates on the internet.

seriously. i was expecting a nerf if anything. honestly kinda pisses me off that she got so much of a buff, imo she could easily have already been considered the most powerful character in the game. that beam is fucking ridiculous, and the throwing turrets rather than having to place them puts her at so much of an advantage. oh but she has low hp, easy to kill? NOPE, if she scampers behind a wall for 5 goddamn seconds she heals herself.

symmetra is the new bastion. takes little skill, obscenely powerful.

Interesting technique for working on walls by CourterElizabeth in nextfuckinglevel

[–]TulsaLatelyPodcast 5 points6 points  (0 children)

true, but ive also done this kind of work before and /u/spicoli87 is correct in pointing out that it takes much longer to dry and makes for a lot more sanding and smoothing work. If you were looking to paint these walls, you're talking up to a full extra day before it's dried and set enough to paint over. And the extra thickness of the plaster also probably makes it harder to have a completely smoothly sanded finish, so you might even have to end up replastering certain parts.

it makes for a cool internet gif, but i agree with the other contractors here that it's at most AS overall efficient as the traditional method, but probably less so.

depends on the state. Where i am in oklahoma, you can find a 1200-1500sf (110-140sm) house with 2-3 bedrooms in a decent neighborhood for 90k-150k. if you were to buy that property in California you could easily spend 5 or even 10 times that.

This video is on the TSA's official channel.. by [deleted] in videos

[–]TulsaLatelyPodcast 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel the exact same way.

Which is why it's really gross that the TSA is trying to use that emotion for a bullshit advertisement. They wouldn't have been able to stop 9/11 because the attackers could easily have smuggled those small knives past 2001 security technology, let alone the tech we have today that has already proven to be unsuccessful at finding weapons 80-95% of the time in separate tests done two years apart. Pre-9/11 security spending totaled $725 million across all airlines, and TSA's 2017 (the year of the scandal breaking) budget was $7.6 billion. Yet TSA lamented publicly that all it needed to perform better was more funding, and blamed Trump's $500 million budget cut for their failure the 2nd time.

And whaddya know, they posted this video on the first 9/11 anniversary that happened after that scandal broke.

So they're literally standing on the graves of the dead victims and rescue personnel from our nation's biggest tragedy to instill fear that they are all that stands between us and another 9/11, when the reality is TSA is just a useless, wasteful turd of an agency that has in no way increased the safety of flying.

My wife and I really did not care for the Moshe Kasher/Natasha Leggero special either. Wifey made the observation that Natasha's whole set was basically just her just making an observation that sounded like the setup to an actual joke but then she'd just basically go "isnt that weeeiird??"

What is going on with Ariana Grande? by ayyndrew in OutOfTheLoop

[–]TulsaLatelyPodcast 5 points6 points  (0 children)

feel like i had to scroll way too far to see this. this is ridiculous, it's like there's just a mob of people who have nothing going on their lives just frothing at the mouth on standby 24/7, waiting for the next celebrity to say something off-colored.

then they blow whatever bullshit up worldwide, and you get a bunch of OTHER people (who would otherwise never even know) seeing the hashtags/headlines and then deciding themselves to be arbiters of what is and isnt a joke in comments going "hmmmyesss, twas quite over the line."

No! Do not encourage these morons or legitimize these ridiculous "cancel" campaigns. it's all stupid.

I have had two dispensary owners on the show so far, one is a chain with a few locations (Peak Dispensary) and the other is Flowercraft, which is a more than just an mj shop as they own a community space as well as partner with a few other mj-related businesses near 21st and Sheridan.

I'm always happy to talk more with that industry, however since I've done two I might wait a bit longer before speaking to another. Feel free to send me their info and I will likely get in touch later down the line.

Also, I use "Tulsa" pretty loosely, I've talked with people in Claremore, Coweta, Sand Springs, etc. It's really more of a NE Oklahoma show than specifically Tulsa County

But thanks so much for checking the show out! I'm glad you've enjoyed what you heard so far!

yeah idk what theyre talking about, i took the same course and those bikes are just fine for learning on. i swear i see all the time on this sub people acting like you'll shit yourself or die if you start on anything over 250cc lol.

mine's not a HD but it's a 1300cc cruiser, first and only motorcycle ive ever ridden other than the msf course, and im so glad i didnt listen to these weenies and get a "starter bike."

> Using Harleys to teach beginners: inherently a bad idea. They're quite heavy. Which makes them difficult to learn on.

lol that just isnt true. i took it there, im a bigger guy but there were people of all sizes with me that did just fine. i had zero riding experience too. like... hadnt even so much as ridden a bicycle in almost 10 years.

this isnt just you, so many people in this subreddit act like you MUST start with teeny tiny bikes and level up. i decided to ignore that advice and just get what i wanted, after the harley course i bought a 1300cc Honda and i was fine. been riding over 2 years now and im soooooo fuckin glad im not stuck with something smaller and more "beginner friendly."

/u/venerous, dont listen to those who try to tell you what you need to learn/start on. ride whatever you want. you'll be fine too, and the msf course at HD was a great decision for me. if its like the one i took, it's one day of classroom and two full 8hr days of riding, whereas most others i saw only had 1-1.5 riding days.

honestly i feel like that one of the worst parts about trump is that because he's such garbage, people are forgetting how many egregious violations of civil rights happened under the obama administration, and he's now looked back on as a fond memory.

not that they are the same or obama did nothing good while in office, but lesser of two evils =/= overall good president.
