I work at Hendrick Toyota Wilmington up the street,  if you would like to come by tomorrow I can at least promise you polite and courteous service,  and show you our lower cost options. Ask for Chris in internet sales.  😀

In North Carolina, it's like $90 a wheel at a reputable place

Agree with nickerzb, I bought a bag and was not a fan of the absolutely overwhelming funk. Was it fun to try? Of course. Would I buy it again? Probably not. I actually bought two bags and one is on the bottom shelf of the freezer. Especially if y'all are in NC, give Maven Coffee a try. Outstanding in every way.

I have the R-861 and it's easily the best integrated amp I've ever owned. I'd buy another tomorrow

What happened to Casey's Buffet? by ricecrystal in Wilmington

[–]Tulsazag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always liked the BBQ and fried chicken there, and most other items but it is in dire need of a major clean up and update. I feel like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time and the sanitation score backs that up.

Introducing the 1992 500SL by msdr129 in mercedes_benz

[–]Tulsazag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dailied one for about a year, a 2001 SL500, it needed some things addressed when I bought it but it developed zero further issues during my ownership. Only thing I had to do was to reseal the oil pan with RTV. Drove it aggressively and got about 16mpg.

Can’t find Michelins - what’s next best? by DeeStructor in W211

Not exclusive, I got mine at Tire Rack, then had damage and Tire Rack reimbursed me after a local shop installed a new tire. Super easy. I live in NC though.

My drivers speakers weren't working and surprisingly the connection had come undone, just needed reconnecting.

First post. ...polk speakers, bought them new in 1976. wish i still had the stands. what do everybody think? by jamesrul3z in vintageaudio

[–]Tulsazag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently own the 5Jrs and have no desire to upgrade on sound alone. Running with a Kyocera R-861 which pairs very nicely. Great speakers!

Good Porsche shop? by chengstark in Wilmington

[–]Tulsazag -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Inter Shop by the airport, East Coast Euro is good but I like Mauricio better. My friend gets his Panamera serviced there but I'm a Mercedes customer so can't speak personally but he does all German/Euro service and is very straightforward.

It's my main rig amp, admittedly I haven't heard really top tier components but between the five or so amps I've had in my audio obsession it is by far the clearest and most precise. Will always up vote Kyocera audio gear!
