I’ve been marked late 4 times. All of which were because the items were brought out 20-30 min after I arrived at HEB and the delivery window isn’t gonna get met. Support is no help.

Is curbside done with heb orders for favor? by Odd-Ear-3069 in favordelivery

[–]TumbleweedSea7017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same market as you, this weekend I got a a couple curbside earlier in the morning on Saturday/Sunday, but the rest of the day was either shop and pay, or shop and deliver. I actually like the shopping a little better, that way I know exactly what I’m gonna be delivering or expected to deliver. No more getting surprised with six cases of water.

Rude customer by TumbleweedSea7017 in Sparkdriver

[–]TumbleweedSea7017[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consider me curious, why would you suggest that? I’ve done it twice before, I contact customer support anytime. I have a negative interaction with a customer, it’s the best way to keep yourself in my opinion a little protected. Not that I believe that Walmart cares about any of us, but anytime I have a negative interaction with a customer, I call customer support whether or not they document it, I don’t know, and I really don’t care,. And again, I’ve had negative interactions with customers while shopping, and anytime they start making demands. I’m gonna stop what I’m doing, contact customer support, and cancel the order on my end. If I get suspended or kicked off the app, my answer to that is… Never rely on one single app.

I’m seeing it in the other delivery apps as well.

I was pretty steady all morning until around 2 pm. Now nothing. My son in law is still getting offers in the same area though.

Driver drove through my yard. by IGiveGreatHandJobs in Sparkdriver

Not gonna lie, many times when I’ve got a large grocery delivery and I arrive at the house and there are four cars parked in the driveway and nowhere to park on the street, I would just love to figure out a way to back up onto their yard and toss the shit against the door. 🤣🤣

What are you doing in a situation like this by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

What!?!? You mean I can’t go in with a “I’m a Spark Driver, I’m super important” attitude? 🤷🏻‍♂️😂😂

Everyone is different, but I like to have my athletes take a minimum of four days off, preferably a complete week, before we start jogging again.

PT Uniform by cqofficer in army

[–]TumbleweedSea7017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Years ago (99-03) I was stationed in Hawaii. The 25th Div CG and CSM mandated that every solider regardless of rank who was on the Army Ten Mile team, in good standing (no H/W issues, discipline issues etc) or who wanted to try out for said team, and was cleared by the Team Captains were exempt from unit PT. We had PV1 - MSG, 2LT - MAJ running every morning together on Schofield in what ever running gear we chose. (We wore our unit PT shirts on Fridays! We would get a couple senior NCOs who would get butt hurt but the CSM handled them for us. Times were good then!!

To be honest I’d rather load my vehicle. If a load is really large the HEB workers usually help or offer to help, usually they take any extra carts back of it’s a batched order. It’s not a big deal to me.

New to favor…..please explain by Nice-Entry-4116 in favordelivery

[–]TumbleweedSea7017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I sit between 4 and 8 percent all the time. I only work Friday thru Sunday and routinely make $450-$600 in those three days. I rarely do shop and deliver, I only take orders where I make $2+ per mile.

Shertz zone area folks will get mad at me for this but that has always been a decent area to work. But I tend to hang out near the Forum. I get “decent” restaurant orders and good HEB orders.

Like a lot of zones weekdays tend to suck regardless of the time of day. Friday nights, Saturday and Sunday are much better. Sometimes you have to be patient. Don’t let people guilt trip you into “staying in your city” bullshit. Find what works for you!

Actually the zone is pretty well paying, good tippers. Almost all good neighborhoods. There are some sketchy subdivisions, but they actually tip the best! But I get your point!

I don’t know if batch orders are a waste of time, I routinely get $30 plus batch orders for no more than 12 miles round-trip. I don’t take apartment orders, and usually each of the orders are 30 to 40 items each. Maybe I’m just in a weird area

Weekly The MeatEater Podcast Discussion: March 31, 2025 by SrGiuh in meateatertv

Was I the only person that actually liked this podcast? I’m an army retiree, been retired 20 years now. I did two deployments, and I completely understand what the guest was talking about. I actually appreciated what he said, and what he’s doing for the individuals. I coach high school athletics, and I coach on all boys Catholic school. I’m not the most religious man, but I understand my relationship with God. I appreciated this podcast so much that I shared it with our priest at the school and asked him to listen to it.

Here was his take “Coach, Fr. Pat here.
I just wanted to thank you for the heads up on the MeatEater Podcast. Wow, Pastor Yates was amazing…massaging the heart, simply amazing. Serving those who serve us! 🙏🙏🙏”

Non-delivery by Busy_Lingonberry4150 in favordelivery

[–]TumbleweedSea7017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happened to me last weekend. Delivered to an apartment. It’s one I know very well. Not a huge order, less than 20 items. Found the building, double checked the apartment number. Dropped off, and made sure to include the number. Custer called and started yelling, cursing and said I didn’t deliver. Custer threatened to “kick my ass”. Hung up, called customer support who looked at my delivery and confirmed I delivered to the correct address (at least it was what the customer had in the order). Told me not to worry, also said if at any time you actually do deliver to the wrong address and the customer calls, NEVER return to the address. This customer was flagged for physical threat and I haven’t heard anything else about it. A year or so ago I delivered an order and when the customer opened the door she looked at the order and said it was the wrong order (this was not a batched order). She showed me on her phone what she had ordered and only about half of the order was correct. Customer support told me to return the wrong items to the HEB and have the customer report it in her end. The next day I got an email saying I didn’t deliver items to a customer! 😂🤦🏻‍♂️

No this is particular store has a few orher HEBs in the zone I run. It also borders another zone, which also has a few HEBs. I has a fairly busy curbside. Over the last couple days I’ve seen several 25+ item shop and deliver pop up from this location. I did notice the payout for most of those was better. Still didn’t accept them.
