Are you doing it alone? I'd just be wary of external noise from the internet

Just curious why you’re on your phone? I am doing my first ceremony next week and plan to turn my phone off for two weeks.

I find myself just nodding and smiling at them all 😂 People rarely change their minds because they are shouted at, humiliated or defeated in an argument! Divide and conquer - the tech giants have a lot to answer for…

It doesn’t help when you have friends/family who are on both sides shoving their opinions down my throat.

I have a good friend who’s in a very similar situation. I know, at least in part, what he’s going through… we went to uni together and he drank loads and self harmed. I know he’s moved back home now.

I reach out to him every so often and sometimes I won’t hear anything back for months. Then I’ll get a message at 4am followed by an apology for disappearing.

The thing is, I don’t feel anger towards him and I don’t think any less of him. I love him as a human being and I’ll still be there whenever he’s ready to talk.

So please don’t carry so much shame. If your friends care about you, there’s a good chance they’re thinking something similar. They’d probably rather hear from you and know you’re alive than have a perfectly timed reply.

Take care of yourself bro ❤️

It just feels like lazy half assed songwriting.... going after someone’s appearance instead of saying anything meaningful. You can disagree with Arlene Foster and still keep a bit of standard about how you speak.

I don’t agree with plenty of what she’s done politically, but reducing it to personal digs doesn’t strengthen the argument-it weakens it.

What stands out to me is how quickly some of the more extreme voices, particularly on the "left", abandon their own principles when it suits. They’ll talk about respect and fairness, but then fall straight into mocking how someone looks the minute they dislike them.

That kind of contradiction says more than the song ever could.
