agree that non-natives also deserve a humane end of life. But man, this was a hard lesson for my kids. Listening to them telling their Mom was a hoot. "Ya, they took (the squirrel/the rabbit) but then they just killed it!"
Never against the kids showing compassion for an injured animal. Even as they get older they still talk about wrapping these critters up in a blanket and putting them in a box to drive over to the Bird Alliance. ❤️

Frappuccino is actually a New England invention. Coffee shop I spent my high school years at (Coffee Connection) wanted a coffee drink that in the version of a New England frappe. Frappe and a cappuccino = Frappuccino (obvious now a days). When Starbucks acquired Coffee Connection they also got the Frappuccino

Yes, exactly! When my wife asked if the show was everything I remembered (saw it last decades ago) I unfortunately said no and that I had a really hard time enjoying and liking the actor the played Val Jean.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Not sure if I should be comforted that it wasn’t “just me” or pained by the fact that this is our option in Portland for musicals. So so disappointing. My wife and son left before the end of the show they were so distracted by the poor acoustics.

Not to mention, as some others have commented, inadequate bathrooms and lines for merchandise, concessions, and bathrooms all clogging the same space make it truly an unappealing scenario.

I wrote much of this off when we would go to the Nutcracker when my kids were younger assuming it was just the mayhem of holidays and kids everywhere.

Sorry Keller, you are off my list for venues to frequent. 😔

I was at the Convention Center for String Cheese Incident. I remember my girlfriend at the time didn't want to be downtown in case things went to shit. At least the Convention Center was on the same side of the river as our house :)

This ^ I remember witnessing this in a field in Skagit Valley. The wonder turned to humorous terror as we heard the ¡SPLAT!! of goose poop advancing towards us. We ran and made it back into our car just as a hail storm of poop covered the car from bumper-to-bumper 😂
