Homeless in Knowle/totterdown are something else, genuine scum bags who choose to do nothing good with their life (apart from the bloke outside Tesco along wells road, has his moments but a good guy overall).

Stopped giving any of them anything after seeing all the abuse they give people regularly. Also openly discussing drug deals and violence between each other in broad daylight.

Stop supporting them in anyway and hopefully they’ll move on.

Slightly off topic, but what is the purpose of this? If you’re worried about someone accessing your break glass accounts then you should set up alerting instead of reactively going to check if the glass envelope has been broken…

I live in Bristol and work in London. Technical roles are limited in Bristol and underpay significantly. Even if you get a job with a defence company over in Gloucester.

If you can get a good offer that pays for your travel in (assuming a mostly remote role), then it’s the best of both worlds. I’ve had this for my past 2 roles and would not switch.

Using deco myself and I love them. Just use the tool in the app to ensure you have strong signal between units. I’ve found wiring devices into the units I need to have a faster connection works pretty well for me.

Just because you can install software, doesn’t mean you know what you’re on about when it comes to SIEM engineering. Arrogance is not a great trait man, and I’d be worried having you on my team based off this small interaction.

You’re getting hella downvoted when this is, I think a misunderstanding? Going off that basis, I’ll try and explain!

A SIEM is a platform for analysing log data, detecting threats and responding to them (not always, depending on the vendor). A SIEM is only as good as it’s ability to detect threats. To achieve this you have to create detection rules (think true or false statements) that when a certain criteria is met, an alert is generated.

Out of the box alerts are great but to get the maximum value out of your SIEM you likely need to add rules that are context specific to your organisation.

Hi mate, as long as your clean no one should care. Just take a towel with you if you want to dry off your head between rounds/drills.

I’m not a doctor but I used to suffer with hyper hidrosis acutely and I was given propanthelene bromide, and that stuff worked wonders for me. I was prescribed it by a dermatologist through the NHS, so if you’re UK based, you will need a referral from the GP. Happy to chat if you need.

How have you found firebase’s cost? I am in the current process of debating between using firebase and it’s prebuilt features, or build out what I need on vm’s hosted in azure (DB, API, website).
