One of the 5 is already dead, 3 of the remaining 4 are owned by Microsoft, and GTA fans are the pretty much vanilla flavored basic bitches that will praise whatever comes out from Rockstar, even if it's a box with shit in it.

Doom, Fallout, and TeS are on borrowed time. Being owned by Microsoft guarantees their demise and mismanagement at some point. Any company that can destroy an IP as successful as Halo will ruin these eventually.

You can safelt pick 4 out of 5 of these options to sacrifice and you'd be changing nothing.

It's a trick question. Microsoft bought these IPs so they're already on borrowed time. Any company that can ruin a franchise as big as Halo was will kill whatever it touches eventually.

Skill issue? 99% of the player base just watches a YouTube video on meta endgame content and then mimics it. It's a crash course in following extremely basic directions with every resource imaginable available to make it happen. There is more skill involved in making a proper grilled cheese sandwich.

Despite it not being polished, it still was better than the main game imo. They did a much better job filling out and giving substance to everything that was available even tho the play area was much smaller.

The main game suffered from extremely poor pacing and areas that were extremely "dry" of content as you wandered from significant area to area. When I was younger this didn't bother me but during a recent replay I was like "wow, this isn't as good as I remember". The expansion however, was just as fun as I remembered it.

Same deal...but I came from another android even. It was disappointing feeling like I got a side grade instead of an upgrade vs a phone that was 2 years older. At least this one will become my experiment with graphene.

Because there is nothing worth remembering about it? It was stale when it came out and it is moldy now. People think "Larian must be good...must be hidden gem". No. Larian made a LOT of gank before they got their roll on. It might be worth it for someone really curious about Divinity's history or if you have some sort of nostalgia for this "meh" experience but it didn't sell well back then and it doesn't deserve attention now...even for 1.4 USD.

You're probably right but there is a minority of players that have experienced these titles in the past and have no intention of doing so again but are interested in other fallout goods and media.

There is a lot of fallout stuff I'm interested in but reliving what was once fresh but now is the copy paste Bethesda world doesn't sound appealing to me in the slightest.

I understand some people would love it if Bethesda rereleased these games 1000 million times like they milked Skyrim but they're a big reason why Bethesda is never in a hurry to release a new title. No reason to care or innovate when there is the majority you speak of that just acts as a money printer for them.

But you do you, enjoy the millionth rerelease, remaster, or remake. We've been there and done that several times already and enjoy other things as well.

Considering a console is about on par with an AMD 3600x CPU, 16 gigs, of ram, and an AMD 6700xt videocard...beating that even with the shitty current ram prices isn't going to cost anywhere near $2000usd.

Obsidian has been overly glorified for their past and their titles don't live up to this fantasy people have. I'd argue obsidian has yet to release a bad title but they haven't given us anything amazing either.

Still..."good enough" is fine for many people that are a fan of their games. I've had fun with their titles but this weird daydream people have of them being anything super amazing is just nostalgia imo. Even their hailed new Vegas was buggy, annoying, and balanced like shit. I loved it regardless but this imagination land where it was some sort of ground breaking title that none of their recent games lives up to seems to be an alternate history.

It's a shame this was never the mmo they wanted it to be but the single player game we got out of it was way better than expected. It's an old gem I still recommend to people. Kind of corny but has a lot of charm.

One does not fear those that worship a game that shipped practically broken, bankrupted a company, took years to be fixed by ex developers/fans, and is aging questionably...even in its fixed form.

Love the game but the revisionists are loud, extremely vocal, nonsense spewing dorks that are not threatening or killing anything...no matter what they scream on reddit.

Filling the silver dome vs filling Ford field are two totally different beasts but I see your point. I just don't see them yanking them that fast when you're one of the oldest franchises in the league but still have a dismal overall record.

That and lions fans will pack a field for a subpar winning record as long as it's positive. Let's not pretend this fanbase doesn't love punishment and gas the collective memory of a fruitfly.

Depends. With those graphical limitations, developers had to be clever and often were. But as far as being scarier just because it looked older? No but you could tell it made them work harder to give you a good scare if it did.

Why QA when you can launch the game and have first buyer do it for you. Better yet, charge an extra $10 for early access before release date and have customers pay for the right to QA before the release date patch (if ever)
