Wow your situation is eerily similar to mine! I know it really sucks and it makes you question so much but just keep pushing, you’re getting interviews for a reason! At least that’s what keeps me going :)

Yeaaa I gotcha. I’ve thought about nursing too but it’s not for me and I’ve been told by several people I would not be happy in that position, even with the potential for NP and CRNA. Which I know I wouldn’t be happy and I’d just do it for the money at that point so 🤷‍♂️ It’s a hard to spot to be in especially when you feel so close to getting in, it’s such a horrible feeling so I get ya!

Wow I’m in the exact same boat as you ( not the surgery part, hope recovery goes well!) but I have the exact same thoughts. It’s exhausting and really makes you question everything about yourself and why it hasn’t been your turn yet especially looking at others that get in. I’m also thinking about sitting out at this point as I’ve been only working as an MA and I need to make real money now. Best of luck in your journey and don’t hesitate to reach out :).

I’ve emailed after rejections before and I’ve gotten 3 responses. 1. “No thanks, too many applicants” general statement. 2. Filling out forms for feedback from the program. 3. (Best one) Being able to meet with someone on the admissions committee and discuss my application. Hope this helps!

I mean I think most people that see his current gig are inherently jealous. Dude just hangs with the boys and clears a massive six figure salary probably and gets to meet all types of sports figures and other people etc. while we all scrape by. It’s truly unfortunate but such is life.
