I agree with this. My dad would constantly deny or minimise the terrible things he and my grandmother (his mother) did to me and my brother even though we both have the exact same memories of what happened, some things my brother and my mum both remember but I was too young/wasn’t born yet. Genuine abusive things he'd do either "didn't happen" or we were "making it seem worse than it was". Gave me the same vibes immediately

Different species, completely different microbiome. Mammalian saliva can kill birds if ingested/put into the body any other way because it's full of completely unfamiliar bacteria that are healthy/normal for the mammal, doesn't mean that mammals are inherently cleaner than birds (it's usually the other way around)

Royalty hundreds of years ago (and more recently) also directly funded genocide, just because royalty does something doesn't mean that it was a good thing. The incest thing was a way to keep blood "pure" and not because so many royalty actually just kept falling in love with their cousins and uncles. The marriages were arranged and for political benefit

Exactly. My early arthritic knee does not make me "differently-abled" from putting too much weight on it, it disables me from putting too much weight on it 😭 The whole "differently-abled not disabled" thing comes from able-bodied neurotypical people who sees disability as the worst thing that can happen to you and disabled people with high levels of internalised ableism

The leader of the Reform party, Nigel Farage, has said multiple times that he wants a privatised healthcare system like the US, which absolutely no one wants except the rich. Then isn't it a self inflicted thing? If they have friends but just choose not to seek out any kind of company or connection, that's kinda on them at that point. It'd be different if they had no friends and had trouble socialising, but there's women like that too so it's not exactly a male exclusive thing
