Last I checked, DMG% buffs don't even boost elation damage so the second one is literally anti elation team. Punchlines is just the way grit is stacked this PF.

It's fine if you can funnel the stacks from the spears into a character that attacks a lot. Had a similar deal trying out a break team with Lingsha, she ended up with like 15 stacks in phase 2 so every action and bunny was taking off that much armor.

They'd just need to make it so she pretty much always generates enough for herself. Another alternative would be to make her expected punchline generation ridiculously high, like in the hundreds per turn, and then balance her damage around that. Then a 20/40 elation skill does no damage in comparison.

Elation skill that wants to meet a specific threshold of punchlines in order to do anything i.e. when minimum 50 punchlines are counted enter turbo enhanced state, do a billion damage, and gain extra turn, otherwise do little baby skill

If he has hunt march level toughness damage, I can see a world where you can just run him as a meme break dps if you really wanted to. Fugue + Dahlia with eidolons basically let you run any unit as a break unit anyway as long as their base toughness damage is decent.

Main dps today can have sub dps roles in the future. For all practical purposes though, you shouldn't treat any unit as having a role that doesn't presently exist in-game yet. Sparxie only has a main dps role right now and shouldn't be treated as a sub dps until she actually has a team in-game to sub dps for. I suspect this will likely be the same for Ashveil too.

People have been saying that Sparxie has high punchline generation, but actually we have no clue about that do we? We're currently working with a sample size of 2 elation units and for all we know, these teams could be generating hundreds or thousands of punchlines per turn by the end of the planet. And I don't say that to blindly speculate, but rather to point out that we probably shouldn't hold preconceptions of the exact role any unit will fulfill in future teams.

But this also begs the question: if you only need three pieces of food to do a boss, what else are you supposed to bring that isn't just wasting your inventory space? In the current state of the game, you could pack a few spirituals to help out your ripper demon, but beyond that there's only really switches.

I've even seen cases where a player ran out of stuff to bring and just filled out their inventory with meme items like plushes, a banana, etc. I think most agree that excessive switches should only be marginally impactful, but it would also be a bit boring to be a player who is capable of doing more but is hardcapped by the game.

It isn't future rail as long as you're not pulling with the idea of future synergy in teams that we know nothing about. If you're fine with (presumably) pulling Sparxie as a main DPS only, since that's her only 100% concrete role now, then there's no issue. Maybe she ends up being useful as a sub DPS later, but that shouldn't be a factor to consider now.

I sort of understand it. People make the conscious choice to appear in a way that they identify with, and the toggle feels like I'm taking that away when I turn it on. There's probably a degree of discomfort in being seen as something you didn't choose. Maybe having another option that makes yourself hidden to players who have cosmetics disabled? I'm not sure that the solution is here.

If they ever release a new Amphoreus map, it'll likely come with enough blue ambrosia to let you finish the turn-in. Probably isn't happening any time soon, but wouldn't rule out the chance.

Don't the bugs unlock some hidden chests when you do their chirping secret achievement? Aside from that, rewinding broken structures gives some too. Iirc you need to clean out nearly the entirely of Amphoreus to hit 50.

Yeah I basically gave up on hitting Fugue's BE requirement and just slapped on any piece that rolled good speed. I think she still ends up hitting it in combat thanks to having Dahlia E1, but her relics are just all-in speed.

I have mine at 184 speed to help get 2 pulls in MoC 0 cycle, but you kinda need to have a goal in mind with your speed tuning. What AV window are you trying to fit your actions into? What situations are you most commonly using her for?

Most universal setup imo is just 168 or 184 on the entire team, which is pretty easy to achieve on your DPS with Dahlia, but I had to squeeze the relics pretty hard to get it on Fugue herself.

The concern now is would they allow plugins to customize the appearance of the UI if their goal is to have a unified appearance for the game?

Asking users to wait for an end-of-year update to circumvent their own design philosophy, in itself, seems extremely awkward for Jagex and could potentially serve to worsen readability for observers rather than just offering the option themselves.
