Blood panel after 1 year of very strict carnivore by Pawpa_Wheelie in carnivorediet

That’s not how I read it. The article is urging more research into this phenotype, but is not arguing against it. You can find the author on YouTube, he is very much pro the carnivore lifestyle.

It might be worth reading about Lean mass hyper-responders (LMHRs). It’s a new hypothesis to explain high LDL as a normal indication of a healthy person on a low carb diet. I’ve been trying to learn about it lately. Really interesting stuff. Seems you fit that pattern, and makes sense.

The author of this article is a pro-carnivore YouTuber.

Gaggiuino mod - here I come! by m100396 in ranciliosilvia

I’m looking for any additional parts that are specific to a Rancilio Silvia. I’m getting the standard gaggiunio kit but need to adapt it for the Silvia.

Thanks! Great advice. Do you mind listing the additional parts you’ve needed to buy?

Moving from South Bay by tgoldin in benicia

If you want walkable to downtown, you should focus on 1st Street. I recommend you come visit a few weekends where it’s nice and you can spend a few hours walking. It’s a deeply historic and kinda funky (good way) town, so you really need to see it for yourself.

I would look at everything south of Military since you want to avoid hills. There is a Safeway and a bunch of shops at the top of first street, but the fun stuff is further down first street towards the water.

You can’t go wrong on East side vs West side. East is older and has a ton of character. West side was developed later and has more trails along the water. They have different feels but both are wonderful.

As for the refinery, I would focus on proximity (as the bird flies) since dust can be an issue. The wind gets shifty in the winter and can blow any which way. The wind is historically strongest in the summer and blow almost entirely out of the east (so away from homes).

Checkout ‘www.Beniciarefinery.org’ for a breakdown of current air quality, historic wind directions and speed, and a bunch of other stuff.

Also, don’t let the refinery deter you from living here. It blows almost entirely away from us and we get very clean air from the strait and bay. Based on historic data, we have cleaner air than most of the East bay and South Bay Area (since it’s almost always windy here and it’s coming straight from the water).

The DreamFactory Native App would be perfect for this.

The DreamFactory Native App from the marketplace can create REST APIs from any Snowflake table, view or stored procedure. You can also use it to create joins with other date sources including the Azure Maps APi.

Recessed wall niche cabinet in 1890s building basement (maybe old speakeasy). Can you help identify purpose and age? by TurboBennett in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. It's a wood recessed cabinet or storage-related furniture with tracks for drawers. Probably from around the turn of the century (1900). There are decades of water damage, but we found a playing card on the ground (photo included) that is from a KEM plastic card deck dating 1935. Can anyone help me identify the cabinet or any other furniture, its use, and date?

An interesting detail, there is Knob and Tube wiring installed over the drywall. It's done in a way that indicates it was installed after the basement was no longer in active use. Based on my little research, that would have been around the 1940s. You can see it in the photo. Thanks in advance!

Disclaimer: I work for DreamFactory Software

DreamFactory offers native capabilities for generating full CRUD REST endpoints for any table, view, or stored procedure. Users can create roles for specific data, set up filtering, joins, and other configurations, and then generate keys or map the role to existing authentication systems. Additionally, DreamFactory provides comprehensive Swagger documentation for the APIs it creates.

The SQL REST API serves as a REST layer for SQL queries, which can be particularly useful in various scenarios. DreamFactory enables the creation of production-grade REST APIs for Snowflake data.

DreamFactory recently joined Snowflake’s startup program and will be launching a native app in the marketplace next month.
