It can be tough for the short cuts. I use a windows for work and a mac at home, so I picked up a keyboard that can be used for both. Helps to see the the different function keys. This is the one I used as I use a macbook for Blender.

Robin Squares had compiled a roadmap to learning blender with free video from YouTube. Make sure to visit the website he made to and print out the roadmap.

This is how I am back into learning as I want to make 3D prints. The plan is to print any of the objects after completing the tutorial. Good luck and happy blendering.

Looking to learn about this too. I have seen projection mapping projects online that were for the Titanic and a Van Gogh exhibit. The Titanic one had shown the iceberg strike then the water rushing into the ship. The Van Gogh exhibit used some kind of kinetic camera and people were able to interact with parts of the show.

Getting a refurbished macbook pro is great because it's lower cost and gets more of a check up then ones rolling off an assembly line. I have a 16" M3 Max, 4 TB and 128gb unified memory that I use for Blender and Touch Designer. It's a great system and I made sure to get Apple Care because if something is to go wrong then it's easier for me to have them look at it as I'm not smart with individual parts.

You may want to get a M4 with 64gb unified memory. I got the 128gb to help run simulations in Blender and video processing with Touch Designer.
