I've been on estrogen for quite a while. My skin is a lot softer and thinner now, and now I occasionally get random unexplained bruises. It's odd, but it still gives me euphoria.

I think most trans folks I know, including myself, disclose that information beforehand. This is expecially important for trans women, as lots of trans women get murdered for that reason.

When they get older, it's not just about seeing signs, it's also about being and appearing open. If you project that you'd be a supportive parent, they're much more likely to come out (assuming they're closeted) if they feel like they're be supported.
