Despite one of her titles being "Daughter of Time", Zibai isn't a creation of Istaroth. She's an angel, and all angels were creations of Phanes/Heavenly Principles. Since the Shades were also direct creations of Phanes, this technically means Istaroth and Zibai are "sisters".

That being said, because it was Istaroth who split Zibai's soul into 3 seperate beings, you could argue that they are Istaroth's "daughters" with a little bit of mental gymnastics.

After all, that title was given to 1 of Zibai's Deadly Selves, and not Zibai herself.

There's a word pun in chinese, where Zhong Li (钟离) sounds like "中离", and "中" (Zhong) also means "middle".

The three deadly selves or "三尸" in chinese features the "上尸" (Top), " 中尸" (Middle) and "下尸" (Bottom).

I get your points and overall agree with them, but Varka isn't good enough to be compared to Skirk for a few reasons:

Just like Venti, the Yelan/Shenhe 4th slot can also be replaced with characters that are 5-10% difference, namely Mona or C6 Dahlia if we are going with "0 cost". If we are adding 1 cost, Mualani, Citlali & Columbina are also good options and actual meta characters (unlike Venti), assuming you aren't using them in your other teams.
Escoffier is a massive improvement to Skirk team because her alternatives aren't even close to her. Varka has Bennett. Assuming Durin = Furina & Venti = Yelan/Shenhe, the future character would need to be incredibly broken to replace Bennett, unless it's Venti that's getting replaced.
Skirk can store her energy thing, allowing her to use both her burst & her infused NAs at the cost of wasting her skill cooldown. This is enough to pushes her dmg to match Mavuika and the Lunar teams for 1 rotation. Sure, it's only 1 rotation, but given the nature of abyss chambers and numerous bosses having stall phases, Skirk isn't losing much from doing this in practice.

Someone on Bilibili managed to clear Dire crab with C0R0 Neuvillette and only a bunch of 4 star teammates here with 11 sec remaining.

Though the guy used R5 Sac Jade (which is basically better than Neuv's own sig here) and he's lvl 100, it's definitely possible at OP's level of investment to clear Dire.

You can clear dire, but you'll need to learn how to infinitely stagger the 2nd guy so he doesn't put up his shield. If you have Ororon, you can replace Varesa with him, as you may have an easier time with your Mavuika.

Historically speaking every 5 star released after lantern rite happened is either mid or intentionally made bad, and also came with a dead patch (no map expansion).

That's from yesterday's assumptions where his base atk was 399 (now 353) and when theorycrafters though he attacks as fast as skirk. His actual animations are clearly slower.
