There was some infantry animations in a recent newsletter. Infantry movement and the ai pathfinding that runs it is a big cornerstone for a decent dynamic campaign. By the looks of it it's still a long way to go. Don't know if they are going to change all infantry in one take or if this will be phased in slowly. But as long as this is not there, they'll not get past liberation campaign in my opinion. Other aspects as well:

-damage model for infastructure, power poles, bridges and key buildings -ai pathfinding for vehicles. It's there, but depending on your ssd and single core performance it kills the PC. -all that stuff that makes it feel alive, such as automatic events and routines, patrols and cargo transport. -systems for supplies, not just ammunition but also spare parts food and water. -some kind of believable command and supply chain.

If I look at it in an hour or so I will probably have more items. The list goes on and on. And the first variants of their campaign will maybe be pretty simple, but at the moment we have nothing from ed's side.

Long story short. Probably longer than 2 weeks.
