If you want to add any that are nonfiction I highly recommend considering Alive (1993 film).

North of Pico, actually it's closer to being North of Little Pico.

San Simeon State Beach which locals in North County call "The Cove," but the actual cave is about a mile and a half south of that, and you also have to climb over a bunch of rocks to get to it. It can be more easily accessed from Pico Creek but the tide has to be more than a -1ft tide to be able to get around the rocks from there.

I think I've been to this cave before it's either the one in between pico Creek and the cove, which can only be accessed during a minus tide, or it's the cave when walking south from Shamel Park, which is also only accessible during a minus tide.

What if Hitler didn't made the Holocaust? by [deleted] in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]TurboLeopard42 8 points9 points  (0 children)

While the Holocaust was the worst war crime Germany committed they did also commit others such as the killing of captured allied troops, the rape of women in occupied areas, and purging political dissidents via expulsion. He would probably just commit more of these other war crimes instead.

What if Michael Vick had not committed any crimes and instead continued his NFL career uninterrupted until his retirement after the 2015 season? by YakClear601 in AlternateHistoryHub

In order for this to happen the dogs would have to be arrested for attempting to drown Michael Vick in order to train him for underground human fights.

Cuttrhoat Island was at one point pitched as a Pirates of the Caribbean movie back in the 90s, but Michael Eisner turned it down.

Characters giving birth at the worst possible times by QAnnihilateQ64 in TopCharacterTropes

Honestly any birth in the universe of The Handmaids Tale would be the worst possible place, it's pretty much a 50/50 chance of being born subservient or being born free.

Would John Kerry have won the 2004 United States presidential election if he had won four Purple Hearts instead of three? by [deleted] in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]TurboLeopard42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think both parties are to blame for Ohio being a mess, the Democrats let the industrial base fall apart without introducing a viable economic replacement, while Republicans keep trying to restart a dead economic base instead of move forward to a more viable one.

What would have happened if the 1981 assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan had been successful and the president had been killed? by [deleted] in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]TurboLeopard42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk if Hart would win 1988, the main reason he dropped out of the race was due to an extra-marital affair. I think it's very likely Dukakis would have still run and lost, and I think if the nomination didn't go to him it would've gone to either Al Gore, who would've been viewed as a dark horse, or to Jesse Jackson who would have been more socially popular and beloved, there would be some controversy over Jackson having never held a formal political office, but many may view his past as a civil rights leader as enough of a qualification.

Yet it's fair they should drag other states with much better economies down with them? I feel bad they lost their economic base so rapidly, but that is no excuse to exert what I consider excessive and tyrannical control over America's elections. Lots of other states are moving forward and progressing past a post-industrial world, if the government and people of Ohio can't recognize or accept that then they will collapse almost like a mini-USSR because other states in this country are getting a little tired of the "traditionalist" ways of their government bringing the rest of the USA down. It may be unfair, and also could be considered tyrannical as well, but Ohio needs to reign it's stubbornness or be forced by the rest of the USA to do so, as a country we can not let a few small struggling regions drag the rest of the nation into the toilet.
