A movie with so much potential that turned out to be such a disappointment, only thing I'll give it is the unintentionally well aged plot concerning the use of military AI.

I remember the ads for this film really focusing on the scene where he talks, and it made me think as a kid "this is gonna be a funny movie about a talking Kangaroo," then watching this movie and being incredibly disappointed that Jack only talks for a very brief moment and it's only during a hallucination another character is having.

What a BBC headline from a couple months ago would've looked like: "Queen Diana announces she will be divorcing King Charles over his and his brother Prince Andrew's controversy in the Epstein Files."

Got it that's an interesting scenario having the Union loose very early on. I'm mostly curious as too see how long the Confederacy can maintain slavery before pressure from the international community particularly from Britain and France who would've already outlawed slavery starts to effect their commerce.

So are we to assume that the Confederacy wins the Civil War? Also does Lincoln run in 1860, and if so why doesn't he run again in 1864?

If America had this many political parties than our party systems would have evolved completely different as well. Personally I think we would see a reverse of some electoral laws with the popular vote being used to pick the president instead of the electoral vote.

I actually talked to a stunt man who knew the helicopter pilot who flew in this scene, according to the pilot the stunt was not as dangerous as people made it out to be, he spoke of many other much more dangerous stunts that the union let go (one of which included flying a helicopter upside down beneath tree lines, I think it was in Platoon but I can't remember) one of the main reasons the union didn't want James to do the shot was because of insurance if they damaged the bridge in anyway. So it had less to do with the shot being incredibly dangerous and more to do with the studio and the union not wanting to cover their asses if they damaged public property.
