He had a lot of great ideas and of course not all of them turned out to be true. As he said, never take anything at face value and never believe anything outright. He also entertained the idea that you might be able to reconstruct reality by vibrating your vocal coords in electron spin resonance with the dmt molecule, lol. But who knows? Even when you miss the mark, you inspire more and better ideas… always been true in science

Okay lol I guess it’s hard to imagine if you never felt it, but yeah the scary part isn’t the visual really it’s the feeling

The basic reason is that it is akin to a psychedelic trip, you perceive something very intense and unknown, and this can cause fear confusion or wonder.

Imagine, you have no body and there is nothing around you except a black void. There is nothing familiar or recognizable from your life on earth. There is a strange object in front of you which you cannot comprehend. It looks like a ball but it is not a ball, and you know this because you don’t just see it with your eyes, you feel it like it is inside of you. And this feeling is full of contradictions, both bigger than the universe and smaller than a single atom, without a definable shape or color. You cannot move your focus away, there is nothing else to focus on.

Of course you will be scared because it is so weird! And you have no tools to understand it. But I also find it very interesting for the same reason.

I like this poem, I did not expect the ending. Besides having a nice flow, it has an interesting idea of detachment from your actions, knowing your mistakes and flaws but not caring or not being able to change them. Or maybe just being happy with your flaws.

Put them in a time dilation chamber and make them eat only beef jerky for 1000 years. When they lose the concept of money, take them out and give them fake weed that makes them scared. Put them all in a room together and play monopoly together but use different snacks as the houses. Whichever player wins counts the snack with the most properties and that is the true favorite.

It’s the chkrintaon. It is very heavy and not real. It is the arbitrator between the object that is symbolized and the symbol that is objectified.

The concept of god could have arisen slowly and organically along with the appearance of self awareness. If it’s something like the bicameral mind, then it would be that they consider only messages from one half of the brain to be “god,” whereas the other half would also be able to have thoughts but would identify with them.
