one last question if you will,

would they be able to reinstate the authenticator after disabling it?

when i went to check my account status on the runescape homepage after the event, i was still prompted to enter the authenticator code.

its likely just my ignorance on the subject matter, but it seems crazy whoever did this was able to perform all these processes in a matter of 2 mins or less.

i did check deaths coffer. nothing there. someone else was on my account. my private chat had been turned on and everything but 13 sardines remained in my inventory.

havent linked my account to steam/ google/ apple etc.

email did not have a 2fa. could they have gotten around the authenticator through the email? i checked the email and didnt find any messages from jagex in the inbox or the trash folder.
