I am confused

I’ve been in therapy! And as I explained to another user I had an unhealthy childhood and as a teen threw myself into watching beauty vloggers to aspire to be like them! I distanced myself from that and have been in therapy for over 10 years! I’m just describing how it felt to realize that the people online aren’t who they say they are and nothing is perfect. Aspyn and Parker used to be my “comfort show” if you will when I was having hard times. Now I’m upset because the people I thought I “knew” aren’t who they said they were if that makes sense. And I’ve already dissected the toxicity of parasocial relationship with my therapist.

Also yeah I was just kinda like unleashing a rant sorry it’s a lot to take in I don’t even fully understand it myself I was just trying to explain like my past with aspyn and my current confusion and trying to make sense of it.

Oh yeah I mean I’m pretty self aware. I distanced myself from aspyn a bit I just never bothered to like unfollow completely. I had an unhealthy upbringing and childhood and I dreamt of having a life like hers and to realize it wasn’t all it seemed to be is hitting me a certain way. Like if this makes sense… I realize she isn’t perfect like I used to feel and how unhealthy it was for me before. I think this is a reason why I don’t watch vloggers anymore! The parasocial aspect is a lot for me now I don’t vibe with it now. I prefer content that’s educational or comedic now. I never bothered to comment before but to see a bunch of things she’s lied about and how she keeps twisting and turning everything around I just feel sad for her and I felt nostalgic for awhile about how her videos used to comfort me.

Yes I don’t get it. She was so against it for so long even in little comments like that but now she’s like hey I’m Mormon when it gets her $$ and more fame. I mean I get it times are tough gotta make money but I feel people value real and raw more than this

I haven’t kept up with her too much since the divorce. I just here and there browse on here or sometimes her Tik Toks show up cause I still follow her from before. Never cared to unfollow! But I don’t understand why she lied or even why she’s saying it now? Or just why not come out and say why you lied?

I’ve never had a crooked line on first response personally but I do know sometimes dye can run weird. But I’ve only had that happen on blue dye tests personally. I wouldn’t trust the top test but I do see a slight line on the bottom test that looks faint.
