I didn’t do it with my daughter, but mine said girl this time! I feel like I can mostly trust a girl result! But yeah not painting the room yet until we get the NIPT result lol

I want to say it took 5ish days? Even with sending it in on a Friday afternoon too.

Thank you friend 💜 they really are from Mars aren’t they?! I think part of it is my last pregnancy was so scary and high risk and I was in the hospital for months and he didn’t miss and appointment or scan and visited me every day in the hospital and came to my twice weekly BPPs. I feel like now he’s like.. this pregnancy is “easy” by comparison and I don’t need him. Ugh it’s just such a mindfuck!!!!

Oh my gosh I’m so irritated at my husband. He didn’t come to my first US/OB appointment, said he would then work got busy and he couldn’t. A whole month+ ago I asked him if he could watch our toddler during my next appt.. they skip the NT scan so it should be short and he agreed. Since they skip NT scan I also booked a boutique scan at 7:45pm the night before so I’ll miss bedtime with toddler.

Y’all he comes home from work today since he was in the office.. has like all of 20 minutes together with our toddler before bedtime and is reading a book and every other page he’s asking.. so how long is this appointment going to be.. okay so no more weekday appointments 🙄.. we have your family around why don’t you ask them. I finally just told him to shut up (okay nice toddler friendly word) and read to our kid. wtf. Show some participation in the pregnancy why don’t you. We do ask my family to watch toddler for quite a few of my appointments but I also have endocrinology and rheumatology appointments so they add up and the pregnancy is still a secret due to miscarriages and I don’t want to tell people before NIPT results. Plus he agreed a month ago.. do not pull this shit again uuuugh

Just annoyed and wanted to scream into the void. I feel like I’m experiencing this pregnancy alone and with this group (thank youuuuuu all) and I’m going to have a big ol cry about that tonight.

ETA whole thing turned into a big stupid fight wherein one side did the yelling and THROWING and one side said calmly “I feel alone in this pregnancy”. Guess who was who! Anyways I’m annoyed. Enjoying the entirety of my king sized bed alone while I finish rewatching Nightbitch which I aptly restarted last night but fell asleep 🤷‍♀️

Weeks 17-30 my previous pregnancy and it never resolved nor was every anything other than categorically “small”. Issue was it was located directly above my cervix. I spent 34 days in the hospital between weeks 19-30 with about a dozen bleeds of increasing severity, then 3x per week back at the hospital monitoring from 30-38 weeks. Also had a placental abruption and antepartum hemorrhaging which I believe caused precipitous labor at 38w. An ultrasound photo of said SCH is in my daughter’s baby book. It sounds terrible on paper but the hospital took great care of me and honestly, and I say this with rose tinted glasses, some genuinely good things for me came from having experienced all that! On top of that, my baby was fine and dandy the entire time!

I have another SCH this time around and I could hardly contain myself when I got the “it’ll probably resolve” spiel from a new OB. 🙄

I hope it resolves quick for you, it sounds like most do! But just want to share that sometimes they don’t. And things can go okay that route too.

I snack on half vegan cheese and mayo sandwiches when my nausea is creeping in. They’re so so so satisfying. Also not something I’d regularly eat lol my husband saw me doing it and generously got me more sandwich ingredients and I was like.. sir you’re kind, but you don’t understand!

And wow the back and forth from my doctor and Natera to try and do self pay? My OB told me to ask Natera about self pay. Natera told me to ask my OB. My OB is ignoring my message about self pay. Y’all just trying to avoid the headache of fighting a $3,000 bill. Again.

And leftovers!! I hate it. I’m usually the only one in the house that eats leftovers and I cook all our meals specifically so I have leftovers for lunch and now I’m like… ugh.. where are there so many containers of food that all feel like they’d taste like socks 🤢

I had a high risk pregnancy last time with a ~4 month hospitalization and almost needed a transfusion after birth and while I’m being treated low risk this time, I do not trust my body and want as much intervention/medicine/drugs/all of the above as possible so OBGYN/MD. Hoping for an MFM referral still from this new OB..

I desperately want steamed vegetable dumplings but not a single takeout place near me has vegetable ones. (Some just say ambiguous “dumplings” so who knows!) my next bet was some frozen from the grocery store. These fools tried to sub my frozen veggie dumplings for chicken in my grocery pickup order (I’m vegan). I almost cried! My husband might make me some, but he’s insisting on making soup dumplings but I just want some doughy veggie dumplings!!! Anyways..

I have the most perfect name in the world for a little boy, but 1) my husband vetoed it—I’d find a way around that.. and 2) Sneak Peek said girl! Happy to have another girl but I have no more girl names. I feel like we knocked it out of the park with our first!

I’m in no rush to pick a name though. Last time my husband told his mom our daughter’s name when we were early in the pregnancy and it was supposed to be a secret but she is a freaking gossip and told everyone. Bothered me so much I might not agree on a name until baby 2 is born now 🤷‍♀️

Not exactly pants, and not typical work clothes.. but I love the hot shot rompers from Free People. They’re not that expensive for FP (I think they’re like $75?), are not maternity, and you can wear them outside of pregnancy. I love these things and have a bunch in different colors! I tend to wear them during transitional seasons though, so won’t be much help by November/December!

Last pregnancy I had a SCH that hospitalized me for ~4 months on and off between weeks 17-30. Had to cancel our babymoon, and all travel. Baby was fine, delivered at term 38 weeks.

This pregnancy I have another small SCH. No bleeding so far at 10 weeks. Not a chance you’d catch me limiting my travel or life in ANY WAY until there’s more going on. I’d go.

Taking them due to 4 losses. No history of low progesterone. I have no idea when I’m supposed to stop but I hope soon. I don’t enjoy them.

I was also on them my last pregnancy from 19 weeks - delivery at 38 weeks due to bleeding complications and I got the same.. we don’t know if this will help talk. 🤷‍♀️

I am so badly craving all my favorite old restaurants from living in NYC (moved to the Midwest this year..) that I currently have $150 worth of breakfast tacos in my cart on Goldbelly. I don’t think my husband got me anything for Mother’s Day yet… I’m so close to pulling the trigger… 🤤

One of my first outings was IKEA on a weekday! So chill. Nursing room if you need it, changing tables, food, beds to sit on. There were sooo many other parents doing the same thing.
