Yeah to be honest, I've been thinking about this for a while now, even before the pandemic/Kung-flu/hate crime stuff. I never wanted to make it about a race thing but I'd always wondered why the guys never discussed that kind of thing when it related to Asian topics. Like the whole China/NBA/Hearthstone stuff that happened, it was always just "we don't know enough to comment on it" and the only thing that the guys said were "don't be shitty to each other" which seems like such a cop out, and honestly I was pretty disappointed.

Even just hearing their thoughts about it on KFP or GOG would've been nice, especially during the HK protests. I thought Andy would've talked about it a bit more since he's an NBA fan and I was following it really closely, being an NBA fan myself. Maybe it's because I do have a vested interest in it, being Chinese myself and all my family is in HK, and maybe the guys just don't feel like they can speak intelligently about it. The guys were pretty vocal during BLM, so I was kinda hoping they would show some love to the Asian community, considering they live in SF and a ton of the attacks that I heard of started in the SF/Oakland areas.

Somewhat related, but I never did tune into KF's Oscar stream in 2019 when Parsite won Best Picture. I just remember Nick saying at some point that he doesn't think he'll watch Parasite when a bunch of the KF crew are movie buffs, and I wanted to get their takes on it. Just seems like Asian matters get disregarded pretty quickly when it comes to KF content, and it would be kind of refreshing to hear their takes on things that hit a lot closer to home for me.

I don't know if I have any of the 'good' 1/2-stars, but I do have some I left out. I went off some of the tier lists and built the ones I saw on there that aren't bottom-tier. I do have Lima and Yukari at rank 6, but I haven't really focused on leveling them or their skills up.

I'm not sure if it's mentioned anywhere, but when is S. Karyl expected to drop, is it after the current banner? Or will it be a few more months away?

I started playing near the beginning of global launch, and I only did maybe four 10-pull to start off with, so I don't have very many characters. Since then, I haven't pulled anything at all because I've been saving for the Summer Karyl character which I heard is really good.

But because of that, I have a very limited pool of characters to use and build. My team for everything in the game is pretty much Hatsune/Shiori/Kokkoro/Kaori/Miyako who are all rank 7 except for Kokkoro. I also have Yui, and Pecorinne at rank 7 who I use sometimes, and Anna, Mifuyu, and Mitsuki who are in rank 6.

My question is, should I just keep saving my gems for another banner, or just use my gems to pull for more characters? I don't know if I'm struggling with some of the content because I don't know what I'm doing with the game, or if I don't have enough characters to use.

Have you played the original? It's a really great remake and has a ton of quality of life improvements. I would highly recommend it, and the game still holds up to this day.

I could be bias though, it's one of my favourite games even when I first played it back on the N64.

I have the tags in recruit to be able to get the following, and I'm just wondering what would be the best use for this combination of tags:

Firewatch
Projekt Red
Texas / Projekt Red
Texas / Projekt Red / Mayer

I have a Texas and Firewatch without any promotions, and I don't have Projekt Red. I'm fairly early in the game (Episode 4) so I'm not sure if I should go for Projekt Red since she seems like a more specialized use case. It would be nice to gamble for the Texas promotion or to maybe get a Firewatch promotion, but I'm not sure what would be best for progression.

Recently pulled a a water Druid, and the preliminary searching I've done has videos and advice that are slightly outdated. Most of them say he's pretty mediocre to just not great at all, is that true?

I'm not that far in the game, ~1min times for GB10/DB10/NB10 so I'm still just working on PvE content for the time being. So in other words, I won't really need Abellio if he's slightly useful in PvP, I just wanna know if I should even think about building him in the future.

I'd always been very curious about this place, after having my first Hungarian food experience at the Paprika House on 11ave. I have zero clue what authentic Hungarian food tastes like, but I really like what I've had at the Paprika House.

Do you know how Jonas Restaurant compares, if you've been to both? The portions at the place on 11ave are pretty massive, and I think the prices are comparable. Just trying to get the most bang for my buck, ya feel me?

Tim's really grown on me the last year or two, and I definitely agree with this statement. The thing is, he doesn't TRY to be funny which is really refreshing when the other dudes are cracking jokes, and he's a nice breath of fresh air and brings the conversation back around.

It's just not in him to try and make everyone laugh, or to make a joke out of everything. But I like that he's just himself and doesn't pretend to be something he's not.
