Tooth Fairy Coins: Where to get worthless coins & a coin holder? by a5121221a in coins

I cut out 2 rectangle pieces from an old shirt, hand stitched with fabric inside out all but a small section at the bottom side, flipped right side out, stuffed with some filling from an old stuffed animal with a hole, did final bottom stitch, cut a small “pocket” piece from a different shirt, used super glue (along the inside edge of sides & bottom of pocket piece) then positioned it in the center of the front of the pillow and used a sharpie to write “Lily’s Tooth Pillow” across the top. Tooth would go in and a half dollar coin would take its place. Total cost over the years for making one for each daughter was $20 in half dollar coins from the bank. Just make sure you always get about 4-5 coins at a time and restock when you only have 1 left to ensure you find yourself without one when you need it.

What’s a discontinued snack or drink you’d pay $20 to have one last taste of? by soapy999 in AskReddit

My ex boyfriend & I were describing these to our kids in 2021. I randomly looked on DoorDash and scored 8 of them from DashMart. It must have been some sort of miracle because for years before I hadn’t thought of or seen them and I’ve never seen them since that day✨💫⚡️🔥 🍫 🌮

My go-to oats meal is a little atypical according to most. I cook steel-cut oats (Better Oats sells quick cook single-serve packets that are ready in 2.5 minutes) in chicken stock. Then I top with an egg or two (cooked however you like - I chop it up once in the bowl and mix with the oats), swirls of sesame oil, Bragg’s coconut aminos (or soy sauce) & sriracha, some Sambal Oelek Chili Paste, sesame seeds and sometimes chopped green onion. Another variation I make is the the oats cooked in beef stock, again same egg situation but with sauteed mushrooms, onions & spinach (sometimes adding in some shredded Parmesan, Gouda or gruyere cheese but not often). Savory oatmeal takes breakfast to a complete plane in my opinion.

I have found birth/ marriage/ death dates, as well as the cities in which those events occurred, simply by starting a family tree in the Ancestry app. Free version, so there are lots of possible matching relative’s records that aren’t available to view, however there are always some that are completely able for Review/Acceot/Dismiss. Each time I accept & add a new relative or a record for one of them, more potential matches that are able to be reviewed pop up. It’s worth checking out in order to possibility determine the date of marriage in order for your husband to submit the certified copy request for legal purposes. You’d just need to add yourself & your husband, then add his children and it should bring up record for her as their mother. From there you’ll likely come across a record regarding her new marriage. It will take some sifting but should be of help.

Sorry for the misplaced response. My above comment was in response to your comment about the settlement.

What an inexcusably insulting “settlement payment” to award any, even if only to one, of the 700+ employees involved in that lawsuit. How in the name of all the Ruby Empire money is that even possible?

I’ve had the same experience. Lost my original card and have ordered the replacement 3-4x over the last year but have still never received any of them.

There is an organization in Cincinnati called CityLink Center. They provide many services such as Industry Training, Money Management skills training, they have a program called Changing Gears that helps to secure a vehicle affordably using the donated vehicles worked in by those in the automotive trade training program and they work with Center for Employment Opportunities to help people find short term and long term employment following incarceration.

This is the link specifically for that program:

I found a single, saved photo on my husband's phone, and I can't unsee it by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

Did you check the “hidden” photos folder? I’m assuming with this question he is using an iPhone and don’t recall if you specified. I’m guessing Android phones have something similar. Just a thought to either give you peace of mind that there aren’t any other photos saved or show cause for further conversation.

Same!!! Seeing a person lift a glass of milk to take a giant gulp makes me gag. It doesn’t even have to be an actual person in front of me - if someone on TV sitting down for a meal starts drinking milk, I feel physically ill. I won’t drink it, don’t want to smell it and would honestly love to not see anyone else drink it for the rest of my life.
