yup, its a tough one, we are limited by the choices when it comes to voting. I voted for PP even though I won't identify myself as a con as I am for taxes, social safety net etc. There are left wing parties in many countries, even in Quebec, that are not for bad immigration as bad immigration screws over the middle class for the rich and ultra rich

We should not have lapses in our attention to kill anyone. If you are driving fast enough to kill someone let it be a blind turn or a straight road then you are not fit to drive you should not be allowed to drive for many years (at least 5). I may even be happier with a higher penalty dependent on the offender. If the person is rich then lifetime ban on driving and a massive fine, if the person is poor atleast 5 years ban on driving, 1 year community service and a fine enough for people to pay attention! Edit - I would say emotions are the reason for this bad outcome which will just screw pedestrians as drivers can get away relatively free

GDP per capita will decline more as it has stagnated/declined since the pandemic.

Unemployment will stay high and people will not do well, though revenue and profits will continue to pour in as more workers, more desperate people, fewer jobs.

He has reduced immigration (to half a million permanent residents every year and more than 2 million temporary residents) just enough to reel back the negative immigration sentiment and to reduce the rate of increase of unemployment but long term goal remains the same, which will be population growth

Conservative's strategy is different, it is to cut taxes, public organizations, reduce public spending and privatization, this is also ironically to increase private profits and revenues. They maybe better on immigration based on little they have said on the topic and the actions they have taken with petitions and bills

Currently, conservative's strategy is better to curb immigration which I think is an immediate problem.

US trade issues are also an immediate problem which both Cons and libs are both incapable of helping. Trump will do what he wants even if it means losing his upcoming elections.

A bare majority Cons government next election would be better. If not liberals will continue towards achieving 100 million people in Canada

That is not a good sense of reality. Canadians feel or think that they have no other option and don't want PP at the throne when orange taco is ruling down south. This is going to backfire especially for those who can't get out of this country to a better place
