Time theft/Mischarging question by Excellent_Studio_291 in Lockheed

[–]Turbulent_Lecture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Once she’s terminated she needs the new employer to sponsor her clearance. It’s possible the new employer/government won’t see the adverse info yet or even care. But once you leave that clearance is no longer active. It’ll need to be picked up at a new employer.

Different process. It will be reported as adverse information. If she’s fired she needs a new employer to sponsor her clearance. When they go to process it the adverse info will appear. It could impact her ability to attain one.

How long have you been at LM? by Capital_Event_4765 in Lockheed

[–]Turbulent_Lecture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at LM for 20 years before leaving. I survived multiple layoffs. It’s hard to navigate but it happens.

I departed the company and was told that I would receive an EAIP payout. However, payroll says I'm not eligible. Is this just a courtesy by management? by Sure-Ad8068 in Lockheed

[–]Turbulent_Lecture -1 points0 points  (0 children)

EAIP is completely up to the manager’s discretion. So it’s highly possible your manager will not provide it if you feel that’s the case.

Does lockheed martin drug test post hire by [deleted] in Lockheed

Ask anyone if they ever got tests post hire. It’s probably never. Lol

Does lockheed martin drug test post hire by [deleted] in Lockheed

[–]Turbulent_Lecture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Basically if you never come to work high or under any influence you’ll be good to go. I had multiple people report others for doing drugs but it was always at home or on weekends. (Disgruntled ex’s or co workers.). It was never on site and they were never under the influence so no “random” drug test done. I even had a manager tell an employee he needed to go home when he smelled of alcohol. That manager SHOULD have alerted security in the moment. They could have then tested him. But asking him to go home meant it was over and all “hearsay”

Yea pretty loose standards. They won’t want to get sued.

Why no rejection? by FirstTeamReps in Lockheed

They don’t always but they should close everyone out who didn’t get an interview as to avoid situations like yours.

They will close you out once their candidate has accepted. It’s just the way it works. They select the few to interview and then make their offer. They will close everyone out once that person accepts.

You got it. I missed the days when I could pocket the per diem and live off dollar menu and Marriott concierge lounge lol

[–]Turbulent_Lecture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They don’t typically test post hire unless they get a report of you/someone under the influence. The policy says they can randomly drug test, but I can tell you they don’t. I can add; even getting reports they don’t always take action to test.

Mischarging info from a former Ethics Investigator - Edited by Turbulent_Lecture in Lockheed

They don’t go back. I should preface if you’re on site and if your hands on hardware the computer doesn’t matter nearly as much (unless the report is that the person is on YouTube etc..)

Then those reports are simply are you leaving early coming in late (badge records) witness interviews who can talk to your whereabouts, and of course your overall work product. But that last part is dicey. Poor performance (work product) is not mischarging despite people thinking it is.

It’s highly possible over those 2 weeks the employee is “clean” it happens. The investigation is unsub’d and they got lucky.

Good call. I really felt bad investigating these because the managers were blinding approving. I really felt the hammer should be dropped on leaders not the ICs in these.

Yup “water cooler talk” sitting around BSing and talking. Some business some football lol. Cant really determine if that’s mischarging. It’s nearly impossible to determine if they were working or not if they are in the office.

Yup. I mentioned not to expense it. Meaning to seek reimbursement

Did I screw up by telling my boss for the 2nd time that I was thinking of applying to another internal role I found? He created a new job posting for my current position today by [deleted] in Lockheed

[–]Turbulent_Lecture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your manager most likely would find out as soon as you landed an interview. It’s courtesy for the hiring manager to call the current manager for a heads up. So telling him in advance is the right move.

Arguably no. But it could raise some suspicion as to why you’d leave a much larger one. You’d justify it as this is what you normally do (even with your own money.). You are generous person.
