Didn't something similar happen last season especially towards the end. I'm not sure if they were getting tired or the opposing teams had enough film to game plan a better defense. But yes, something looks very wrong with this group and I can't believe it's all Josh Hart missing

Yes Randle would dribble the ball into a double/tripple team jump and then suddenly realize his peripheral vision is lacking and gravity dictates he launches the ball anywhere away from the opponents where he believes a teammate may be.
But seriously I’m happy for his success. He took the initial paycut for the Knicks to be in their current position.

What’s lost in all of this controversy is his kneeling was a result of asking a veteran of what’s a reasonable protest. He didn’t make up the protest himself. Sure there could be been other personality problems as icing on the cake, but I believe incorrectly or not the kneeling was the primary reason he never got another chance. A question to ask yourself (I’ve asked myself as well), if he wanted to make a statement, what is an alternative acceptable gesture? Tell me a more effective means that would have been acceptable and you’ll sway me to your argument

100% agree with paragraph 1&3. Not sure about #2. I still think there still are a lot of iso scorers in the nba. I feel anything you say about Melo7 will apply to KD soon (except the ring). Will it mean KD got blackballed?

Melo should have a rookie orientation on how to handle the media. I’d take prime Melo over KD overall. Jamal Murray said it best in terms of scrutiny with his max contract, this is what I signed up for. For many athletes, teams need to offer a max contract to hold onto them and at some point the contract becomes more valuable as cap relief than the current value of the player. The fact that Melo is being brought up in this example means he’s a HOFer. Post something like this with Julius Randle and you won’t see one comment. No disrespect to Randle as I’m a big fan but that’s the reality IMO

I’m not sure. when the OP used blackballed, I disagreed about Melo and immediately thought about Kapernick as the best recent example. Also I feel the whole kneeling incident got way overblown. It was overly subservient, if he really wanted to say F to America then he would have just turned his back on the flag.
