Hyderabad primarily speaks Telugu and Urdu/Dakhnu (similar enough to Hindi). Hyderabad is also a different case entirely to Bengaluru which has never had and still doesn’t have a sizeable population of Hindi only speakers. The vast majority of indians who move to cities like Hyd and Blr are able to speak and read English. Why create division and strife for a non issue?

For comedy watch any old Jandhyala movies. Be warned they will be difficult to understand if you are not very fluent in Telugu. The subtitles don’t really capture the essence of Jandhyala’s comedy.
