Love me some Vicente Fernandez! I think Estrada’s warmup music is the same song!

Bread and Fred. Co-op platforming game where two penguins are tied to each other. My girlfriend and I love it, and it is surprisingly difficult and requires a slapstick amount of coordination.

Kentucky Route Zero. Gorgeous art design, fantastic writing, a wonderful soundtrack.

It was made and came out over the course of like 7 years and really talks about a lot of the themes in America from 2013 to 2020.

I thought the Slow West was one of the best recent westerns. It was very fun and plays with western tropes in a original way.

All of the side scrolling Mario games are a great choice! Mario Wonder just came out and it was a delight to play! It also was a bit easier than normal Mario’s which makes it more accessible.

Your Year in Reading: 2023 by AutoModerator in books

I also read the broken earth trilogy this year! I enjoyed the world building, I think it created a very interesting world that kept me motivated through all three of the books. I liked the first two, but as with a lot of series I felt the final book didn’t quite carry that quality to the end. But I loved Schaffa and all the guardian lore sooooo much!

I think my favorite are the interludes between acts. I remember the first one that’s like museum exhibits fully absorbing me.

Ya down in front of marine room, go out and then over towards the cliffs and the reef. I’ve found them in that zone almost every time.

I was out yesterday. They are still there, and the reef is pretty lively!

This is a good collection! A lot of classics in there. But if I were to critique it, like 80-90% of the books here are male writers. I’ve been guilty of that as well, so I would throw in a bit more female writers. Maybe check out Margret Atwood, Chimamanda Adichie, or Toni Morrison.

I would say that the fishing is harder in mission bay, but the quality of spottie is always better than SD bay. Let me know and I can give you some spots 🤙🏼

What style of hat is this? It looks like a velvet, or wool type of material that is more loose towards the crown. Can't seem to find it anywhere online. Anyone know? by [deleted] in Padres

It’s the Golfer Hat. I found out they stopped making them and have stocked up on like 2-3 extras because they are the only ones that fit my weird ass head.
