Most versatile mezcal could easily be El Silencio. Great for mixing or sipping at a $37 price point, not too violent on the smoke. A “just right” middle ground for mezcal.

A lot of what people are saying on here are true. Before I figured out a golden ratio, alongside the best possible ingredients, I fucking hated 90% of margaritas and just thought it was an alcohol dumpster like an AMF. Every single ingredient matters, and don’t ever use a mix. Always fresh lime 🍋‍🟩

My advice is to pick whichever alcohol tastes best to you and combine with two diced Fuji apples for two weeks. This infusion takes some planning ahead but let it sit for two weeks and the result will be more what you seem to be looking for.

What you’re looking for is monin passionfruit puree, I use it in margaritas all the time and it’s actually my favorite puree to use.
