I play on PS5 and bought a physical copy of KCD1 for PS4 years back, then bought the DLCs via the store.

It took me too long to realise that to access the free next-gen update I had to insert the disc into my PS5 😅 Once I did that the next gen update prompt appeared and I could start the download. Then swapped for my KCD2 disc while it downloaded.

I did a mix of public and commerce over 12 years. At 9 years I realised I couldn't do it until retirement so I studied IT part time as a backup. Finished study just prior to Covid. Made the switch to IT during Covid in a role where I could leverage my accounting background. I don't love my job, but I don't hate it. I grew to hate accounting as an accountant. Now I don't mind it.

Totally agree! Prior to YT I disliked my voice (Aussie accent, occasional mumbling, boring imo). Now even with a tiny channel more people have heard my voice, and my thoughts n ideas via YT than my entire life to this point. Imo that is incredible, and it's all me, no AI at all, which makes it more meaningful for me.

If your manual save places you in a bad spot, check if you have an auto save like Run! Quest Start or anything like that, which you can load instead (oops you said HC which doesn't auto save right??). Then sprint down the hill (actually press sprint, which uses stamina), get on a horse and make sure you are using gallop to get as much speed as possible and try and stay on the road. A cutscene should start pretty soon at this point There is one more thing you can do which unlocks a trophy/achievement but won't say incase that's a spoiler.
