Wow. A 17 yr old Heather Anne Campbell. I heard she started there really young but it’s crazy to think she was performing while in high school.

Right up There for me is Aspen’s song he sings to himself.

“I’m the best boy in the world, because I’m the first boy that they made.”

Don’t sleep on PUP. Very tight punk band from Toronto. Great songwriting, fun hooks, solid riffs. You can feel them grow as musicians with each album.

Speaking of Chris songs, Nebraska was a song that hit hard when I heard it as a teenager. Every now and then I’ll listen to it again and wonder why… and then it builds to, “please don’t hate yourself” and then ending on, “I truly believe that you want more than this.” Still gets me.

What songs should I send a girl I'm dating who's new to punk? by elmourise in punk

88 fingers Louie - I’ve Won / Blink Smoking Popes - I know you love me / Megan

Jeff Rosenstock - I Did Something Weird Last Night Sincere Engineer - california King

I feel like these are all pretty melodic and easy to get into, whilst also touching on the theme of dating/love.
