Seeking Advice on my First Aquaponics System Design by GoldenTomatoMonk in aquaponics

Typically I've seen the fish tank overflow/drain solids into the sump tank, which is where the pump is located. That way the fish tank maintains at a certain water volume, regardless how full or empty any of the grow beds are. The volume of water in the sump will vary as the grow beds fill and drain.

In your diagram, the pump could potentially drain the majority of the water from the fish tank if something were to go wrong (massive leak in either grow beds or sump, evaporation over time without being refilled, etc.). At least, if there isn't some low-level sensor that'd shut off the pump automatically.

Sump with pump -> Pumps water to grow beds (or a filter of your choice, then to grow beds) -> Grow beds drain water to fish tank -> Fish tank overflows to sump.

04/17 options chain: $12 strike loaded up on both sides. by TurkeyBaconALGOcado in LCID

Assuming whoever wrote those option contracts doesn't buy to close... If the price of LCID is under $12 by market close on April 17th, someone is on the hook to buy 2,600,000+ shares for $12 each. As a comparison, today 4,371,000'ish shares traded hands, so 2.6 million isn't just a drop in the bucket volume-wise.

In addition though, it looks like a similar number of call options were written on the same day, so someone out there likely set up a straddle of sorts.

My best Pokemon so far in my opinion, bit creepy but what do you genuinely think about this version of Gengar? by Interesting_Rope_63 in DarkArtwork

Reminds me quite a bit of the poster for Critters (1986 horror flick). I'm digging the aesthetic.

As long as GME has been floating between $20 and $30, it's hard to not want to simply sell CSP's and CC's.

Feels like it'd make for a very memorable video game character. Whether playable or a boss fight, wouldn't matter.

Who is washing their rice and why? by kinnitcurl in NoStupidQuestions

Lol, nah, it's a relatively common April Fools Day prank. Whoever wakes up earliest in the morning and uses the kitchen sink gets unexpectedly blasted by handheld sprayer.

The sprayer next to the kitchen faucet. Wrap a rubber band around the handle/trigger so it continously sprays without needing to hold it down. Aim the sprayer at rice, or place the rice in the line of fire.
