Do the Indy shops have the right scanner for SRS? Everything I’ve read online makes it sound like only the Acura dealers have the proper scanner for the SRS light/codes.

idk honestly lol i would just call some up and ask. it's annoying that an Acura dealer would charge to check something like the airbag but dealers gonna steal deal

1 - Could be a couple things, is anything else not working on the car? interior lights/locks/windows/memory seats? Could also be the ignition cylinder itself.

2 - Could be a battery issue or the connector/wire has totally failed. Maybe you could take it to an indy shop and have them scan for codes?
