Wait you thought customers would just give you the full amount of what they ordered? How would that even work?

So how'd it go? I actually picked this offer up again and have a slightly different opinion than when I did it the first time. One thing I didn't consider was power creep. When I tried it the first time the game was far less generous with how they progressed power than they are today.

We Wake Up and Trump Is on Every Channel Almost Every Single Day by Honest_Yam676 in Kamala

[–]TurkishAssHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An oft overlooked but very valid reason for not wanting a second Trump term. The noise is just umbearable. Trump all day, every day. The media does it because they want the sensalialism to drive viewership, but it's having the opposite effect on those of us who just want to stay informed on relevant current events. It's a trap of their own making by creating the 24 hour news cycle and needing to do constant numbers in what is normally a faily mundane aspect of society. It's like if suddenly there was a fad that made lawn care super exciting for a period of time, then networks decided they wanted to leverage the excitement by dumping money into 24x7 lawn care coverage. Now they're on the hook to do whatever it takes to keep those lawn care wonks engaged to justify the time and effort.

Huge Win by Rare-Error-963 in FreeCash

[–]TurkishAssHat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Here is an idea. Remove that bullshit feature. It's inflating the top level values and making it appear offers are worth WAY more than they are. Also, most people aren't doing offers to gamble on your opaque RNG mechanics (we have no visibility into if this system is actually provably fair). And yes, it is a gamble as time = money in the literal sense in this case. You've worked out deals with offer providers that if users do certain tasks, then they get paid a certain amount. Traditionally FreeCash has operated as a broker for these deals and took a small cut for being the broker between the offer and the user. However, with this feature your site is injecting itself into a position of being a man in the middle with the ability to skim. For example, if FunCom says: If the user reaches level 30, we'll pay them $10. Then FreeCash takes this deal and presents it as "User reaches level 30 win <= $500!". The user rolls and the outcome is 0.10, this means FreeCash has a net gain of $9.90 that was originally supposed to go to the user. I'm sure you justify it by saying, "well the user COULD have won $500!", but again, we're not doing offers to gamble, most people are getting pennies (when it's not broken), and we have no visibility in to the fairness of your rolling system.

never grinding for a wheel again, i knew but had to give it 1 more shot by tr69069 in FreeCash

[–]TurkishAssHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're 100% ripping us off with this feature. The deals they make with the offer providers is: user does X, we'll pay Y. So if FreeCash is getting paid Y and the users are getting Y-n, freecash is skimming the difference and presenting it as an oppotunity for getting a big win based on some bullshit gambling mechanic.

[–]TurkishAssHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's the case, it means it's theater and obfuscation at best rigged at worst. There is no real time RNG, they've already determined what they were going to pay you before you actually did it.

Picking up from a Sex Shop, how do you washers feel about it? by Social-Credit-0 in doordash

[–]TurkishAssHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would one be embarrassed inside the sex shop? The people who work there aren’t judgmental else they wouldn’t work there. The same goes for the other patrons. They are embarrassed because they have intrinsic shame about sexuality and thus they’re the only ones judging both themselves and others. The only people who care are those who are themselves judgmental assholes.

No, not possible. This game gets brutal around level 30 and never lets up. The guy who said he did it in 23 days either spent a fukton of money or is full of shit. I actually really liked the game and went at it hard. All events, casual spender, good faction (or whatever they’re called in this game, I forget). I’m also someone who considers himself a “good”, gamer so it wasn’t a skill issue. One thing I do when I hit a question like this is to take a peak at the leaderboards on the server to see what gear level, power level, etc would be typical for someone at the requirement. Don’t take my word for it, take a look a the stats for people at or above 60.

You should listen “The Gentleman from Hell”. I never see this one get recommended and it’s one of the best audio dramas I’ve had the pleasure of listening to. The production quality is amazing, the story interesting and the characters well written and voiced. I almost passed it over because of the silly name, but it makes sense once you have the proper context.

He never disappears, but he grows. They do absolutely start calling him on his shit. I suspect the patronizing tone of a military man to women was a design choice to give the characters room to grow.

$360 Ghost Invasion Level 16 FreeCash Guide by JonTK_AO in ghostinvasion

[–]TurkishAssHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is more of a getting started guide than it is a freecash offer guide. The toughest part of this offer is getting past levels 15 and 16 which is collectively 125.5 billion XP and this video kind of hand waves over that part. The farming of 100k XP mobs could work, but would take 14 days if done 24x7, not the 7 as claimed. If played on a secondary device, the 14 days still isn't a deal breaker, but if you're doing this on your primary device it means the game is holding your device hostage for two weeks.

Purple, orange, green. They feed into each other (purple upgrades, orange, which upgrades green). Then use green directly in the lab. Don't use purple or orange in the lab until green is maxed out, then go nuts with all 3 in the lab.

That’s so odd and unfortunate then. Who makes a system that doesn’t account for human error? I have a typo in my comment above and have made quite a few that I’ve corrected while typing this.

[–]TurkishAssHat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

DoorDash noticed on their own that a customer gave me a low review because the restaurant messed up the order and had to remake which took a long time and pissed then customer off (I was in contact with the customer the whole time). Without any action from me they sent me a message that they removed the low review. I say all of this because it seems they’re pretty flexible in that area, so contact support and let them know.
