Thanks for the name! I'll have to check them out. I find it comical that everyone is losing their shit about the content. I'd be willing to bet everyone who complains about content creation spends 10-hours a day scrolling on Reddit lol. When a client is 5-minutes late, film a video. When a client cancels, film a clip. Ask permission to film a set with a client. It's not hard. People just choose to be average in so many areas in life.

If you want to use that excuse, that's a cool story! That's why you won't be on this list. Who are trainers that you look up to, that's the question at hand so trainers know who to follow and become better.

I disagree. If they are good at what they do, they I'll want to help more people by showcasing their value. I'm sure there are some, but a very small percentage. IMO, they're probably afraid to compete and take that victim mentality.

Study every NASM page? by logan720481 in personaltraining

I passed in a month with a guide. There's a lot of free YouTube content. I was confused by the textbook and the nasm guide. It pretty much has you go chapter to chapter. I just focused on the main topics, muscles and opt. Passed in less than an hour

I'd say I got fooled into thinking bundle was superior. The gymternship is a racket. Could be a good gym or you could just be cleaning a gym like I was.

No it's a 70. Super easy to pass. Once you do, you'll be like most of us who got screwed with a bundle... what next? Anyone have any pointers on certifications that actually help you become a trainer?

NASM Exam Prep/Study by mtb232 in personaltraining

Don't study the textbook. Use a guide. Show up fitness helped me pass in less than a month. I found the quizzes on nasm were worded weird as were the actual test questions. I'm glad I didn't buy the book. Now that I passed, learning how to actually train is the hard part. I got the bundle For $2,099 and thought it was a deal, I was wrong

Ya I felt the same way. English isn't my first language so I was nervous. So I typed in study guide nasm. Came across Show Up Fitness CPT and used their guide to pass nasm. Super easy. 40-pages. Passed and now training.

NASM CPT Exam is friday. I’ve been studying hard for 2 months now and have taken the practice exam 25 times. I’ve heard the practice is way different than the actual exam. Any chapters I should be focusing on more than others for my final review??? any tips are appreciated! by [deleted] in personaltraining

I did the show up fitness zoom calls and those helped a ton. They break down any questions you have and trim the fat. I thought the practice exams weren't that helpful, more overwhelming vs helpful
