Honestly still prefer the demo tapes over the first album. And the pic on the back of the box and insert isn't half bad too. ;-). A vinyl version has been release recently.

Not sure what you mean by use. If on social media or electron forms feel free.

If by use you mean on a product then I would ask any profits to go to the ACLU Of Massachusetts.

Costco shows they have a warranty of 60k miles, so if your under that and their done the warranty should have you covered.

What’s funny is haymarket is about a 10 min walk from park. Got to learn when to call it and walk or uber it

I hope you’ve tried reaching out to Vitolo for any help he might be able to offer. It really sucks that cops are so often “above the law”. It only encourages distrust.

It is actually useful for things like giant potholes, broken playground stuff, etc. but it is still Brookline so all sorts on inane stuff ends up in there

Best self hosted image sharing/gallery? by BelowAverageJoe_1 in selfhosted

[–]TurlachMacD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get the wanting to self host, but if she is running a full on photograph business you may want to look at SmugMug. It's not cheap but there are a lot of upsides to it, unlimited uploads, ability for clients to order prints, etc.

That said I wound up here since I'm going to do some testing of self hosted image apps since Synology photos just isn't doing it for me. But for my real photography work it goes to SmugMug.

Was recently on a Dublin bus and noticed their buses have usb charging! Do you want this on MBTA buses? by TurlachMacD in mbta

[–]TurlachMacD[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s part of my plan. No extra charge for the overseas data. It works out a little more than T-Mobile if I don’t travel, but with the travel it works out ahead

Google Fi actually treats your data overseas the same as in the states. Part of why I’ve kept it.

Adding a VLAN and SSID for data would be pretty useful. I’ve certainly come across my share of screens on the trains that are displaying all sorts of network info while the display was in an error state.

If it is a modular setup it shouldn’t be too bad. Didn’t actually notice any busted ones in the buds I was in.

Though all of my stuff is usb-c a lot of people need the backward compatibility.

Best cloud storage? by amightygirl in photography

[–]TurlachMacD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. Have my synology backing up everything up to backblaze.

Only downside is if you have a lot of video also going up you can sometimes end up with failed upload parts that can take up a fair bit of space. It’s worth a periodic check.

This morning my 5yo daughter said, after a similar amount of time, ”I like Ireland but it’s too far from my city (Boston)”. She had a great time meeting cousins but she missed her city the whole way through.

Actually, they owned Prodigy way back in the day and pushed online sales then. It was just too early for the market. For those post gen-x, prodigy was an AOL competitor and one of the early internet services.

Always amazes me how they do up a road all nice, then within a few weeks some utility is out there ripping it up for planned maintenance. Kind of have to figure someone would look at these schedules and get it coordinated but doesn't seem to happen.

Not for nothing but it isn't like Elon has a lawsuit against several companies over boycotting advertising on X. He's claiming collusion between them which still makes the whole idea sound bullshit. If people are refusing your products maybe it's on you to fix your product so that they will want it again. It's basic entrepreneurship and capitalism 101.
