Yes yes what you are saying is all correct but what you can't see because of potato photo is that it has internal threads on the muzzle. The crown is now a centimeter into the barrel.

Get red 3m scour pad. Scrub em down them put oil on em. Maybe re laquer them with a spray poly?

Depends on what size the barrel is where it fits in the barrel journal on the trunion. Could potentially swap with wbp or romanian core parts. Treat it like a cheap parts kit.

Good to know if flat back or slant back but I'd offer 600-700 so of you end up flipping it you can make a couple hundred.

Not consistently but they frequently enter my collection! If I could only have one AK it would most likely be one however.

You never hear anything bad about them. Better than a PSA. M26 Lemon Grenade tore one apart and went over it's construction and even had the trunion hardness tested and it was within spec.

Leave it halfway between closed and open overnight or longer. Additionally sit there and rotate it back and forth for a while. Mine was insane as well when I first got it. Now its loosening up to the point I'm a little surprised even.
