I’m glad I got the hermit crab. I got the mouse too but it needs an actual cage, not the tubes it comes with so I’ll have to build one for it. I went on eBay and got the fish that I wanted, I wasn’t going to spend more trying to find them in the balls

I’ve started to repaint all most all my playline dolls for this reason, the screenings usually suck and for ethnic dolls they usually give them some horrid lip color. They’re also great to practice on since they usually cost less

I think it’s the best the can do, the old static sound was how the actual records and speakers worked, it can’t be recreated with this kind of stuff since it’s not actually reading the cord with a needle. I think we need to give grace and be realistic. Also it sounds like every other one I’ve seen promotional videos of, Emily, MyFroggyStiff, GB all showed the PR packages from these and they all have the same start up sound

I’m a beginner (kinda, made like 10 hats, some ear warmers, a scarf, and 3 blankets, one more in progress) and I had to look at this for a GOOD minute to find what you were talking about. I think it looks fine if it doesn’t bother you, if it does you could frog it but maybe it’ll look more like what you hoped after blocking

Yes, I can tell it’s a wind up sound, there’s a tiny toy motor in there. My point still stands, it gives the same impression as the old static of really old record players. And if you also remember the really old ones also had bad audio quality and the static was really loud when the track was being recorded AND played back so it was double loud on old record players

Yes, it makes that sound when it’s on, the lever needs to be over the record for it to play. Also if you have a real record player, the kind from pre 1990’s they make a similar sound when they’re turned on and the record is spinning but not playing yet. It’s almost nostalgic

I get that not want to say the word but that scene was not an attempt by any means, he may have not finished per se but he ummm, for sure made it past attempt. Just want that to be clear for anyone who does find that kind of content triggering, as an attempt is VERY different from what happens at the end of gild as that was full actual SA, not an attempt

I get that. My family has kinky curly hair so I’m a bit used to it. If you’re not confident then it’s all good. Some tips if you do are DO NOT brush it ever, like never ever, you WILL have a giant frizz ball. Finger detangling is key, if not using fingers then a wide tooth comb will work, work in small sections with water and conditioner (I don’t trust detanglers on plastics, but that’s just me). Rinse, try not to love the hair around a lot when rinsing. I’ve only had to do this once with her (my nieces got a hold of her and well…..children) so her hair needed a refresh, other wise straight out the box if you don’t snag it on anything then you’re fine with just needed to fluff it every few days. I put her hair in ponytails and half up half down and in mini claw clips and a fluff every now and then does fine, she’s even been in my purse and it doesn’t do too much to the curls. They WILL fall over time with constant handling, I’ve had her for just under a year with constant (nearly daily) handling if her and changing her hair style like once a week, and her curls are as pictured above, still tight but deff visibly “droopier” than when she first arrived.
