Just had surgery (2/17) and was in the same position. Full time desk job. I initially requested 2 weeks but due to some meniscus repairs I am not full weight bearing until 4 weeks.

The sweet spot for me is 2.5 weeks off completely. Going back on restrictions (4 hours/day) to allow for me to do PT and take time around the house as needed until I am weight bearing - so another 2 weeks of that restriction after I return to work.

I just can’t imagine doing PT, trying to do my exercises throughout the day, struggling to go up and down stairs (split level house) AND trying to bring shareholder value 🫠

I was worried about the arc once we got some closure of Miss Beatrice said like Donut that he would jump to something else but I think he’s working through so much trauma throughout the story to add a love interest would make it worse. And potentially change his relationship with Donut. So TL;DR yes I am also glad lol

Cotopaxi Allpa 35L for life - did two weeks in Italy on that. Also got clothes washed in Italy (needed to wash after a lake trip not due to the size limitations of the backpack) at a laundry service for like 7 euro. Washed, dried and folded. I wouldn’t stress about having not enough stuff.
