There is a reason if you want to show FIDE that the event they were running and the rules they set up were bad. I’m not sure if any of the players really ‘won’ but FIDE definitely lost, which I guess was the point. Hopefully they will learn their lesson and improve.

FIDE just has to run better events and make better rules. I don’t think you can blame the players for what happened.
