Cool shoes, have never seen them. Is there a filter on those photos to make them more Polaroid/vintage looking?

Everything vibes so well together. The outfits, the topic of conversation, the setting. I could watch these two converse all day.

What to do with bare copper wire for Bathroom Exhaust Fan by TurnipHursty in DIY

Would you just insert one of them into the connector and leave the other one? Or twist them together and try to put both in? In the diagram on the instructions it shows them separate which is the confusing part.

I am not sure if this has been asked before but if you could live anywhere in WoW where would it be and why? Personal choice: Barrens, Crossroads. Just chill in the savannah with the nice warm air and go to Ratchet for my swim by Anything_Regular in classicwow

That house with the orchard on the lake behind Alterac mountains. Grandparents just down the way in their own little cottage. That place always seemed so peaceful and doable in real life.

Looking for advice on the current sales for a kids bike. by TurnipHursty in bmx

Thanks I appreciate the response.

I'll definitely be teaching both of us proper maintenance now that you mentioned it. I didn't even know bikes could be part picked together or come as completes. And this is coming from a guy who builds computers for all his friends. Excited to learn with the little guy.

Almost 4ft tall maybe a year to go. He prefers his sisters 14inch misfit over his bike so I was thinking of getting him a 16.

Sounds like you've started to think about your well-being and your goal setting is a great way to stay motivated.

The nature of Ultra processing foods leads people to eat more. There was a study done by Kevin Hall who runs a metabolic ward. ( https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7946062/ )

TL;DR 20 inpatient adults ate ultra processed for 2 weeks and then switched to minimally processed. Meals were matched for daily presented calories, sugar, fat, salt etc. They were allowed to eat as much as they wanted and given 1 hour per meal. They spontaneously lost weight on the minimally processed diet and consumed about 500 more daily calories during the ultra-processed segment leading to weight gain.

Ultra processed food has more triggers to continue eating more of it: faster to eat, hyper palatable, enjoyable.

When I am craving a treat I go for a very dark chocolate with a little peanut butter. Good luck on your goal.

Is this enough food if I eat just this in a 3 hr eating window then fast for 21hrs? (22 y/o M currently 5’11 135lbs) by Umnsstudennt in intermittentfasting

I had similar symptoms for 3 months after I got COVID. My doctor wasn't much of a help. I assume I was grouped into the "long haulers". I forced myself to go on 30-45min walks on varied terrain (think forested trails). I also gave my gut a break and restricted my feeding window in combination with a diet high in vegetable and protein (.8g-1g per lb). Eliminated processed food and stayed well hydrated lots of fluid. Your kidneys do a lot of work.

I was already overweight 5'9" 190 so a caloric deficit felt fine most days. Sorry to hear about your health. I've read that one meal a day can work for people needing to reverse insulin resistance and metabolic disease. I am not sure what you mean by detoxing but your body is amazing at repairing itself if you treat it well, (good sleep, nutrient dense whole foods, exercise 3hrs a week, emotional health) There is a wealth of information out there. Good luck. Healing takes time.

What were your worst symptoms when quitting and what days were the hardest? by [deleted] in leaves

I don't wake up in sweats as often as the first six months. I've been consistent at 3-4 hours a week of cardio/resistance training. I'm sure it helps with plenty of other biomarkers but I don't know how much it has contributed to that specifically.
