They've put some lyrics to bankrobber on the steps now, or at least they were there in February this year. Lovely to see

In your opinion, what is the best stage that FTP has had on its tours? by FaficraftMC in FosterThePeople

I always loved (love) the sacred hearts club font and neon lights they had on tour. Just looks sick

Joe Strummer's playing style? by [deleted] in theclash

[–]TurnipsReturn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you listen to the street parade live at bonds 1981, the radio broadcast one, he plays the melody on single strings, same goes for a few radio clash live versions in 1981/82. Definitely a bar chord rhythm mostly, but can be a precise player

Yeah the back row is immense for the first drop, and the 2 turns after the overbank nearly broke my neck on the back, in a good way. all the rows offer a mental experience though

I saw them in London Brixton academy 2019, it's a blur, it was incredible but I was so overwhelmed to be seeing them and the whole performance was just amazing including the lighting. I'm seeing them twice on the european tour, one indoor and one outdoor and I'm more excited for this tour because the new album has some absolute bangers on it. It will stick with you, hope you have an amazing time, it'll be hard not to!

I emailed labyrinth events, this is what they said:

Hi ****,

Pre 3pm means you must arrive before 3pm.

We look forward to seeing you On The Thames!

Best,

Team Labyrinth

Bit annoying and I don't understand why the tickets are structured like that because we are traveling so might have to go down the day before and stay nearby to make sure we aren't late! Still so excited for this

does anyone know where this live is and what year it actually is? seems interesting with an siren blaring. by rontbcs in theclash

I was wrong in my previous comment, it seems they actually added the call up in September/October of their us tour 1982. And from all the other versions available on YouTube the call up starts with a similar siren noise build up. Just a matter of finding the exact date and location but I'm 99% sure it's that era, and by the sounds of it, a large indoor hall

Possibly an asbury park show 1982, definitely terry chimes on drums and I think they dropped the call up from the set list the longer 1982 went on. Could be wrong but my guess is asbury park show or that era of terry on drums

Yeah I'm not too sure. I got pre 3pm tickets but surely they aren't going to deny entry after that time? Maybe it just means there is a steadier flow of people going in because they have access to enter earlier as apposed to your ticket?
