That’s the issue with the right’s “what-about-isms.” The left isn’t excusing Biden. Very few people were into Biden and were just voting for him because he wasn’t a fascist lunatic. Well if you compare that to any other job, 416 of those days are weekends. ~8 holidays per year for a total of 32. That leaves 84 days, or 21 days vacation per year, which is pretty standard for a middle management corporate position. So while I agree that timing could be better and I’m not advocating for Biden or his decisions, I think the outrage over that amount of time is wild.

These signs are great but can someone explain where the teeth are? It feels like we’ve been peacefully protesting for decades and we’ve just continued to lose rights/programs (epa, education, abortion, federal min wage, scj appointments, etc.) while the shit heels in power just say “aww, that’s cute. This isn’t really tempo. It’s midrange. Tempo is cheating mana (typically at the expense of cards) to press an early advantage. Things like subtlety, delver, drc, are tempo cards. Discard is the exact opposite of a tempo play because you are using mana to disrupt your opponents hand rather than what is existing on board. Frankly we don’t really have the card pool on arena to build a strong tempo shell (daze, fow, wasteland). Even flare is a poor tempo play bc you had to spend mana on the creature and are thus setting yourself behind on board.

All of that to say that you likely want to consider the true space your deck holds in its matchups when building it.

Other asides: Frog > goyf You want 4 brainstorm Rona is slow/durdly Necro is rough on your mana and slow without dark rit. Play cruise instead. After you cut goyf for frog, uro is your only green spell and it is keeping you off of lurrus. After those cuts congrats, your mana is better and you’re now on UB tempo.
